10/10I can honestly say I haven’t had service with that level of care! Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to get their names, but the 2 ladies and the gentleman were always ensuring our experience was as perfect as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. It made the experience incredibly memorable. We are very likely to come again soon thanks to their welcoming, friendly and kind attitudes. Thank you!

5.5/10The noise level in the restaurant is unacceptable. The bench tables are too close together so no ambience at all and no privacy for conversations if the noise level permitted. The food provided was average , the use of frozen chips should not be allowed at the prices charged.

10/10Wonderful friendly attentative staff who were able to remember me from a previous stay and my allergies!! Nothing was too much for them and even accommodated me by making tweaks to the menu to ensure I could eat taking my allergies into consideration. Chefs always make scrumptious food. Lots of choices for breakfast and dinner and bar food for lunch times. Cannot wait to eat there again xx

8/10Been here several times. Staff are lovely. Nice lunch today. Fish finger sandwich was actually battered fish goujons & very tasty. Cajun chicken burger was good too. Great place for lunch with a view. Definitely recommend it.

10/103 of us come to the Rooftop restaurant. it was very well clean and elegant. we arrived 10mins early so the waiter said you can have a drink at the bar, so we did. had a lovely meal. I had the chicken burger, which was like a nandos style one, Mum had a beef burger which was exquisite and my Father had the gnocchi which he said was excellent.

3.5/10The food was OK, but nothing that special. I have steak and chips, and then chips tasted like frozen chips, and the steak was fairly fatty. Side of veg for £4.50 was a few bits of broccoli and a few green beans.

5.5/10I booked a table online, and when we arrived the restaurant was closed! They offered the usual menu in the bar area, but the only table left was a high bar table which didn’t suit us as I had my 3 year old with me. They allowed us to sit inside the closed restaurant to eat our food, but other visitors walked in (that weren’t eating), and stood around our table just to look out of the window at the view of the airport. Children were running around the “empty/closed” restaurant area, it was a really distracting meal. Service was very slow and poor - there was only 1 person working to take drinks/food orders for the entire level. Not what you’d expect from a rooftop hotel restaurant. We won’t be going back.

2/10We dined on the 29th June . The bar did not have the correct alcohol for the cocktail we chose. The waiter did not know what the soup of the day was. We chose the soup which was leek and potato soup but when it came , it did not taste like leek and potato soup at all. It was a strange taste and my husband did not eat his which is unlike him. I noticed it had tiny black specks in it and I couldn't identify the flavour . The main course was sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly however the chips looked and tasted like they were frozen and not hand cooked ? Very disappointed! When we ordered our dessert I chose the pear tart with vanilla ice cream but it came with salted caramel . I was not offered to choose an alternative to vanilla. We did leave our waiter a £5 tip and to our shock he did not thank us! The air conditioning was on and it was freezing in the bar so we had no choice but to return to our room early ! We were gutted.

4/10Service was very slow, staff more interested in their own conversations. No pizzas available, which seems a bit ridiculous unless you don’t make them fresh. The burger was not the best quality, we had to wait 25 minutes for a club sandwich & a burger, staff going into the kitchen and eating. Guests behind us were watching something on a device loudly. Also very slow service in the bar later on.

2/10Food was small one piece of meat which was just a lump of fat. The whole lot had to go in the microwave. My husband’s meal had to be microwaved.

2.5/10We were recommended to come to your restaurant for a very special occasion Due to 12 extremely rowdy people we could not hear ourselves talk. We ordered our food and were asked if we wanted a drink. We ordered 2 large pinot but they had run out so we only got one half a glass and charged full price £10 starter ok Main course was the toughest grisliest steak ever the only thing edible was the mushroom this was the most disgusting meal we have ever had. we paid up not wanting to cause a scene due to all the noise, then we where ask how was your meal we where offered a drink as compensation but of course you had run out of pinot!!! 5/10The service was really poor and the food was not very good for what they had left. They had ran out of a lot of stuff and what they did have was not very good, they forgot to bring half of it out and the bread was as if they reused it.

4/10Was only offered one round of drinks which was when we sat down. No one came round to see when we needed another drink we had to ask. Food was so so slow! Over and hour before we got our starters, which I must add were all cold choices due to it being the Sunday menu. Had to then ask how long til the main. The roast was terrible, potatoes were not edible! Been sitting in oil for far to long they were like rocks! Couldn’t wait another hour to have desert so left after our mains. All the fizzy drinks were flat to. Terrible terrible experience! Staff need more training and to actually get stuck into there roles rather than standing around trying to look busy. They need to read the room and keep eyes on all the tables they are looking after. Will not eating there ever again

9.5/10A great venue and very nice restaurant and bar with a lovely view of the Airport. The staff were very precessional, courteous and extremely polite. Special thank you to the Restaurant Manager, Tyler and Lily, plus Bar Staff. I have stated after previous visits how nice it is to have a mix of local staff and those from greater distances. The local staff just adds to the atmosphere, all very beneficial in my opinion

7/10Staff were welcoming and the food was good with a varied choice. Although there were plenty of staff around there didn't seem to be much structure to taking orders, clearing tables etc, rather than having one staff member dealing with certain tables they were all trying to serve everyone. Overall we had a pleasant evening.

5/10We went for the Sunday roast but very disappointed! For £26.95 for 2 courses it was very small and not much choice. My son had a starter of calamari which he has had many times in other restaurants and thus was the worst he’s ever had. Roast consisted of 1 slice of meat curled on top of 4 tiny tasteless roast potatoes one slither of carrot 1 slither of parsnip and a huge Yorkshire pudding on top to fill the plate up covered in gravy but the food content was dismal. The desserts were nearly all run out so we couldn’t all have what we wanted. I expected a lot more we were all still hungry. Service and ambience nice.

5.5/10This award winning restaurant left much to be desired. Pizzas form a significant part of the menu yet there were none available. Mushy peas were dry and tasteless - obviously the scrapings from the pan - squid was over cooked and thus chewy. Service was slow with mayonnaise and drinks having to be chased up twice.

7.5/10We had a lovely evening trying out this venue, which delivered on many levels, but wasn't perfect. The ambience and decor was lovely. The menu had sufficient choice, especially with the chef specials as well. Prices are reasonable for the quality and competition. The food was all well presented and fresh, slightly on the cold side, but this leads to the not so good points.... The staff in the main were friendly and knowledgeable, especially the two girls working that night. The service, and particularly food service was however extremely slow. Not a huge problem for us, but still not a great impression. One particular young lad needs far more training, I'm hoping he was new to justify his poor service. He wasn't rude but messed up drinks, confusion over the vegan vs meat burger, never got requested sauces, cleared unfinished drinks away but then put them back after his fingers had been over the rims etc. Like i say, hopefully he's just new and still learning. Overall tasty food in a great venue with the beauty of a bar area to retreat to afterwards if needed. Oh and nice touch when i stated the booking was a birthday as a banner and petals were on the table...much appreciated.
