Beautiful restaurant and delicious food. At the waiters advice I had the cod with citrus and it was delicious! Perfectly cooked thick and flakey cod beautifully arranged on a bed of purée with vegetables. Started with a yummy cod cake (croquette) and had a nice vino verde also at waiters advice. Beautiful room with a later crowd (9-9:30).

Definitely a must go. Gave dish quality a slightly lower score because we found a bone in the cod dish. Besides that, the dishes (breaded cod with greens and potatoes, and prawns with garlic sauce) were amazing. The cod dishes are pretty large. We reserved ahead of time for a Monday during New Years week. Though the reservation wasn’t essential, it ended up being helpful because the restaurant was pretty full and they had set aside a romantic little booth for us. The chocolate mousse with pistachio gelato dessert was great too. If we were in Lison for longer than two days, we would come back.
The appetizers were good but the main entrees were very salty.
everything was good, kind staff, enjoyable atmosphere. Just one thing: my husband found in his cod a lot of big spines. Be attention because could be very dangerous.

A restaurant with a breath taking decor, great selection of wine. Who could have known cod could be cooked in so many different ways. Tasty dishes and definetely get the crêpes flambées for dessert, you won't regret it!
Slow service, tasty food
We have been waiting for more than 40 mins for our main courses and when the cod pie arrived it was raw. We sent it back and by the time they prepared another one I finished my course as it was getting cold and my girlfriend had to have dinner by herself. No discount or any treat at the end. A part from this, the atmosphere is very good and the restaurant is beautiful!

This restaurant is a gem and it's in small secluded place with very hospitable staff and the food is great. It's highly recommended if you want authentic Portuguese essence from food and atmosphere
Best find is restaurants! Excellent, attentive service, great atmosphere, and surprisingly reasonably priced (especially when converted to US dollars at today's rate). Great appetizers, excellent main dishes, extensive wine list, excellent desserts. We had the prawns appetizer which was superb, along with the provided bread, butter/olive oil with balsamic reduction/flavored paté. For the main dish we had the cod with curry sauce topping on asparagus risotto, and the maize meal-crusted cod with sauteed turnip greens, both of which were excellent. Even though we felt quite full, we chose the chocolate mousse with pistachio ice cream to share, and I'm so glad we did, it was divine. The service could not have been better! Very attentive but not overbearing. Our wine and water glasses were never empty before being refilled. At least 5 different people must have come to our table at different times to attend to us, which made us feel quite special. If we're ever back in Lisbon, we'll definitely want to come back here.

A beautiful restaurant located away from the city center near the port. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. I had the cod with risotto and asparagus and my wife had fried cod with potatoes (actually really tasty chips). The portions were generous so if you eat the delicious bread with olive oil like we did and have an appetizer, you may not have room for dessert. This is one to put on a list of best places to eat in Lisboa.

Restaurant was lovely, service although good could have been better(not very attentive). Most of the dishes we ordered were of very good quality and excellent portion size. Flavors at times got muddled, but again overall very good

Looks very fancy. Prices are very reasonable for the brilliant experience. 4 teenage girls we were treated with respect and we really appreciated how attentive the staff were.
We struggled a bit to find this restaurant since we walked from the city centre (bit of a trek, get a cab!) but once we were here it was fantastic. The bread and olives on the table are really lovely. We had vinho verde which was nice and cold and frequently topped up. We started with some bacalhau cakes (fluffy cod fish cakes) and sheep’s cheese with honey. They were good but the main course is where this restaurant shines. We shared the octopus and the bacalhau (cod) with smoked ham and chickpea purée. Both were absolutely gorgeous, rich and melt in the mouth. The cod isn’t too salty as you might think it would be. After seeing the dessert menu we had to cram some in! I had the chocolate mousse and pistachio ice cream which was totally delicious, and my partner had the creme brûlée (described on the English menu as rich caramelised cream). They were both wonderful. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really buzzy and not pompous, but it does feel quite special. The only tiny criticism if I were to make one might be that the courses come out quite quickly, but that could just be a Portuguese thing! Overall this restaurant deserves its great ratings and reviews, we were impressed!
