My husband and I enjoyed our experience. It was my first time and I was impressed with the food and speed of service. The presentation of our food was excellent and a range of interesting mocktails and cocktails to choose from. Free parking which is always a bonus.

We were slightly wary about the fact it’s a little way out from the city centre but we were tempted by the good reviews. Glad we were! We got an Uber to drop us off and the meal was fab. Not a “high end” atmosphere, but a relaxed evening with great service from the friendly staff and some delightful, tasty food. We shared three starters (on offer at £28 for three - including on a Friday, when we were there) and all three were good sized portions of great food.

Booking a table was very easy and there was good parking at the location. The room was spacious and sound system was good enough for intimate conversation. Service was very good (but we did wait a long time to get initial serving despite not seeing any reason why as there were only a few customers as it was midweek!!) The food (Lobster) was excellent and well priced for what it was. I’d gladly book another sitting if I had the occasion for it. As a restaurant, I’d definitely recommend it for special night out.

We've been to this restaurant over 14 times since they opened. The staff are always welcoming, food is excellent and well presented. I cannot fault them,.. The ambience is just right.,. we will continue to visit there as our favourite restaurant .

The food quality, presentation and taste was a definite 5 out of 5. Some of the best food we've eaten. The Surf and Turf seems expensive at £48 but was well worth the money. I have scored 4 stars only because the entrance to the restaurant is not fantastic and is somewhat underwhelming and these things are also important for special occasions. However, once you are inside the restaurant, it's fantastic. Will definitely return....

Although the service and quality of food met my expectations, portions have become smaller since my last visit in April. I bought a friend to the restaurant who was visiting from the States. He ordered salmon only to be told that there was none, he had the seabass instead and enjoyed eating it, albeit a very small portion. The disappointment also came when he attended the toilet to find a lack of hygiene, the toilet smelt of urine. It is important that management see that the toilet area is an extension of the restaurant.

I've dined at Aidans restaurant a couple of times & each time the food has been lovely beautifully presented cocktails are delish Big shout-out to Front of House Tricia very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks pleasant & extremely patient all with a smile!!
