Excellent afternoon tea at Corinthia. The sandwiches were very good and the sweets too. We added a glass of champagne aswell. Our waiter was very attentive and available and also this young lady (unfortunately I did catch her name). We were with our baby, the pianist was a bit Loud but otherwise it was a cosy and calm atmosphere.

Highly recommend! First class service. Thank you, Matt! When you walk into the hotel, the ambiance is set with a lovely floral smell. The scones were the best! The desserts were gorgeous and delicious.

8/10Great: ambiance, service, the live piano, decor, seating (best is to be seated in the circle, not by the pathway), teas, chicken sandwich and scones. Good: the pastries and the ham sandwich Lower average: some of the sandwiches which were lacking in flavor. Not sure about the coconut yogurt/cucumber sandwich. Overall good tea.

We had a wonderful time. Rosa our server was incredible good at keeping us educated on the whole experience. Her kindness and professional service was noticeable. But the cakes in the flowers beautiful. The turkey sandwiches with turkey and truffle was the bomb. A must return place

9/10I’m aware it’s London marathon weekend but we were literally on a conveyor belt from onset. There was no pleasure in this. So it wasn’t relaxing. A friend was running behind time it is London after all we had to start without her but what makes me laugh is our table and the next we’re empty when we left after a drink at the bar. Food outstanding all staff friendly but the main lady was ensuring we were not hogging the seats. It put me off tbh.

10/10It was absolutely amazing experience! It was our20th anniversary celebration. We wanted to have a quiet but quality time together. It was perfect. The place was not just beautiful and festive but the live piano made the atmosphere very romantic, too. Service was impeccable. They were really attentive to details and took loads of pictures , on our request. We went there for 5 pm tea but we continued till almost 7.20. I was a little worried that we may need to leave by 6.45 but they never rushed us or anything rather they packed our dessert portions beautifully! Along with their speciality plum jam. You can’t ask for a better place to enjoy your quiet evening.

10/10The afternoon tea at The Corinthia is excellent. The sandwiches, scones and cakes are all delicious and beautifully presented. Service is very attentive, friendly and professional. The Crystal Moon Lounge is spectacular and an exquisite setting for the tea. This is certainly a top spot for afternoon tea in London. I can highly recommend it.

4.5/10I recently visited the Corinthia Hotel with high hopes for a memorable afternoon tea experience to celebrate a special occasion. Unfortunately, my overall impression was one of disappointment and frustration. The service was slow and unattentive, and the manner in which we were rushed out of the establishment left a sour taste in my mouth. First and foremost, the service was subpar. Throughout the duration of our visit, the staff appeared indifferent and inattentive to our needs. It took an unreasonably long time for our orders to be taken, and when the food finally arrived, it did so at a sluggish pace. It was disheartening to witness the lack of efficiency and attentiveness in a supposedly upscale establishment. Adding insult to injury, the climax of our dissatisfaction occurred when we were unceremoniously informed that we had to leave, despite the fact that the service had been lethargic and we were still in the process of enjoying our tea. The remaining cakes were brought out a mere ten minutes before we were abruptly asked to vacate our table, leaving us feeling rushed and undervalued as customers. To make matters worse, my husband, who suffers from celiac disease, had explicitly requested gluten-free options when making the reservation. However, the Corinthia Hotel failed to properly cater to his dietary needs. They negligently provided cream and jams that were meant to be shared with non-gluten pastries, putting his health at risk. It is both concerning and disheartening that such a well-regarded establishment could overlook such a crucial aspect of their service. Considering the steep price we paid for the afternoon tea experience, the lackluster service and hasty treatment we received were truly disheartening. One would expect a luxurious and memorable experience in return for the premium cost, but sadly, the Corinthia Hotel fell far short of these expectations. In conclusion, my experience at the Corinthia Hotel for afternoon tea was deeply disappointing. The slow service, rushed atmosphere, and failure to properly accommodate dietary restrictions left a negative impression. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to others seeking a pleasant and enjoyable afternoon tea experience.

10/10It was a great idea to come to The Corinthia for an afternoon tea. The iconic Baccarat chandelier is very impressive but what’s more impressive is the food. The sandwiches are really tasty, ordered from mildest to strongest tasting, the patisserie was delicious, so were the scones. We really enjoyed the Chai and Mango teas. It was a very well spent afternoon, will be back for sure. Being able to use Yums there was a great benefit!

10/10Sasha was so lovely and courteous throughout our afternoon tea, as was everyone we had the pleasure of interacting with. Kevin at the piano was also wonderful, coming over to chat, make sure his playing wasn’t obtrusive, and to take requests. An amazing experience from start to finish.
