Booked afternoon tea for a birthday celebration. Waited ages to be shown to a table, past the service area where a waiter was swearing loudly at another member of staff. Waited 20 minutes for a waiter to appear with the wrong menus because he didn't know that we'd booked for afternoon tea, then told that all of our selections of sandwiches and cakes had run out. and at that point we decided to leave. Spoke to the member of staff who identified himself as the Manager on the way out who didn't offer an apology and appeared unconcerned. Thanks for ruining my birthday celebration Laduree I won't be back!

My friends and I ordered the £50 per person brunch menu, which includes several dishes. However, after receiving the first course, no other food arrived for over 45 minutes. When the waitress asked if we were ready for tea and coffee, I inquired about the remaining dishes. She replied, rather dismissively, that if the kitchen doesn’t have items, they simply won’t send them out. I was told these missing dishes would not be deducted from the bill. After requesting that we be served everything we ordered, the waitress seemed surprised, asking, “So you want your French toast?” This also applied to the granola and yogurt. Why would I not expect the dishes I’m paying for? Other tables nearby faced similar issues. While we were offered free macarons as compensation, I would have preferred to simply receive the food we ordered and paid for. The items eventually arrived but yogurt came while we were having coffee so the order being wrong completely ruined the entire experience.

We had made a booking but the service we received was very slow we were left waiting outside 10 minutes to be seated upstairs as it seemed they had forgotten about us. Toilets were not the cleanliest Food was delicious

Food was excellent, however, we received our cups of tea at the same time as our champagne which was not good. Service was unfortunately very poor. Staff who were not trained and frankly did not seem to care. Table cleared before we had finished and then waited 20 minutes for bill.

The service was way too slow and we had to wait quite a few minutes just to even be acknowledged. Ambiance and interiors are really nice do if you are going on a weekend you would hear the people in Covent Garden that are doing shows. Food was the worth part, definitely not worth the money. Chicken sandwiches had way too much mayonnaise and barely any chicken in them, salmon sandwiches had unpleasant smell associated with them. Macaroons tasted old, scones were too dry. And the desserts could be better. Honestly, only the drinks were nice. I would not go again and also would not recommend this place for Afternoon Tea.

Nice place but a bit of a let down when you’ve visited Laduree at Champs-Élysées. This place is quite small and the decor is not nearly as impressive as the one in Paris. Cakes and hot chocolate still great though :)

It was me and my family's first afternoon tea experience! The food exceeded our expectations. Sandwiches were soooo good especially the egg witn truffle! All 3 kinds of teas that we ordered are really nice, even my sister who usually doesn't like the taste of tea finished her entire pot! The staff took rly great care of us and asked about the food. We even get 3 more macarons on the house!

Our server, Millie, was fantastic. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect as the children watched the street entertainers. The afternoon tea is one of the best value for money in London. All with Covent Garden as a back drop!

The waiter Alex who was very polite and always with a smile on his face. This is the best greeting any customer would want. Warm and friendly servers. The supervisor Warren was also very good. He knows his menu at the tip of his fingers and could explain everything on the menu very well. The food was great and the chicken being halal is a great bonus point. Good job laduree for going the extra mile to accommodate your muslim customers. Will definitely bring more friends to gather and enjoy at Laduree in future. Thank you Alex and Warren for making my day a little more special today.

The place is beautiful, and the food was great (we ordered French Toast, which was absolutely dreamy). The only minor comment from us was that we didn't feel welcome. The staff wasn't smiling or welcoming even though only one other table was occupied. A smile and warm service go a long way, and its absence can sometimes cast a shadow on an otherwise perfect experience.

For such a well known brand/ restaurant, the afternoon tea was ok but not great. The egg brioche was dry and the scones too. However, the main problem was the booking system: it took almost 3 weeks to have our reservation confirmed because we were 8 persons. We had to pay the total in advance, choose the menu beforehand, sign an agreement, and 20£ per kid had to be spent. I do understand that the restaurant has rules but it was a bit too extreme for an afternoon tea. The service was ok but they seemed very confused about the whole thing. We arrived at 1.30 and started to be serve at 2.30pm. Finally, before leaving, there was 17£ left on the total paid but nobody came to let us know. we wouldn’t have known if we didn’t come forward. I wouldn’t go back because there are far better afternoon tea experiences.

Bridgerton Afternoon Tea: Staff were rude, inattentive and on their personal phones. I had specified on booking it was my 21st Birthday and received absolutely no recognition of this. Not once did a member of staff check-up on us, ask if we wanted more tea/ drinks. Considering it was rather empty, we did expect better service. When asking what macaron flavours were available, the waitress sighed and whispered a mere 3 flavours. Could not believe that for £59.95 each we only received 2 finger sandwiches and not the 4 as the advertisement would suggest! One of which was a cheese sandwich... We ordered the regency blue chai which also did not look how it was advertised. The violinist was an amazing touch and the pastries, scone & macarons were nice but would not return based on this experience.

The food was mediocre. The service was terrible. they kept messing up orders: try to deliver others drinks and foods to us twice, ordered milkshake but never came, asked for tap water but never came. Took them a while to get the bill and of course it was wrong (with milkshake on it) The decoration was pretty good and that’s the only thing good about this place.

Visited during tea time on a rainy day so outdoor seats are basically not available. Loft seatings are a bit pack but what are we expecting! We had macarons, chocolate cake and cream tea, food are heavenly. Ordered hot chocolate for my 8 yo kid. She didn’t like it special as she felt it’s too thick, so just be mindful that it could be or could be not your child’s favorite. Lovely natural light in the tea room, delightful services. Will be there again

Enjoyed tea time. The sandwiches were pretty good but the hot chocolate was amazing! The best I have ever had. The pastries were really good as well. Our server was amazing and made sure we had everything that we needed. I will definitely be going back.

The service at Ladurée was most disappointing. They miscalculated the amount we had to pay and, initially, one of the waitresses refused to recalculate it. The manager ended up coming to our table to confirm that the amount of the bill was wrong. Further, they sat a group of 8 people in the space by our side, cramming us all together. I would not recommend to visit this place if you are looking for a relaxing tea experience.

I have visited their branch in Harrods long time a go and it was lovely and the food was great. When I told my mom that I booked us a dinner in this restaurant again she was very excited. But I didn't know there will be no seating on the ground floor, and my mom who is an elderly with a lot of back and legs disability had to go through a lot of stairs to be seated, because there was no indication in the booking for people with disability about taking a lot of stairs and there is no lift option. The food was in no comparison to the last time. Honestly we couldn't wait until we are half at least finish so we can leave the place, and on top of that they don't have the service to wrap the leftovers to take away which was very strange given that they sell sweets and desserts in boxes and bags so obviously they can or should have the possibility to wrap the leftovers. I was very disappointed not what I expected at all for the amount of price we paid £130 for two people who didn't really enjoy their dinner.

They will never let you sit inside they seem to just use it as office space for staff, no one will explain why you can’t sit inside the staff are rude and arrogant.
