A lovely time at the Milestone Hotel and Residences for our first ever English Afternoon Tea. The savory finger sandwiches were flavorful and neatly presented. The petit fours, were very pretty, and presented a wide variety of flavors and textures. The servers were very attentive without being intrusive. They also were very understanding and patient toward our lack of knowledge, and willingness to learn the proper way to enjoy the entire experience. I would highly recommend the Milestone Afternoon Tea to any and all who ask.

To start, the staff were incredibly welcoming. The pace allowed us to savour the entire experience. We paired delicious tea with amazing cakes! We also experienced the champagne Royal Afternoon Tea which complemented the experience and elevated well beyond any expectations we had. Well done to the lovely staff here!

All the staff from the doorman , the front desk and waitrrs were so very nice and friendly. Enjoyed this elegant Afternoon Tea very much. Every thing was excellent but the staff made the true difference in this experience.

Our first experience for high tea in England and it did not disappoint! The ambiance was lovely, seating was comfortable, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly, courteous, attentive, and helped to make our time here even more enjoyable. I would, and will, highly recommend to all my friends!

Tea at Milestones was delightful! The service was excellent and the variety of the finger sandwich were all special and unique. The chicken sandwich was my favorite. It was thick with chicken, presented beautifully in a round shape and encrusted in finely chopped nuts. The scones were served warm and the desserts were delicate. We actually brought a box of our desserts home, as we were full. I would highly recommend Milestone’s High Tea

The atmosphere was really nice. The scones were some of the best I’ve had in London. I loved that it wasn’t brimming with tourists, and quiet enough to have a conversation. However, service had some room to improve. For instance, no one was around to refill our tea cups from the pot. We would have done it ourselves but the pots were placed a bit away from us, and it didn’t look like we were supposed to serve ourselves. We had to flag down a waiter THREE times to get our cups refilled. It would also have been nice if they offered to refill the pot with more hot water (as is the norm at most other fancy hotels.) The sandwiches were ok but nothing to write home about. (No seconds were offered. No seconds were offered for scones, either. One person got one scone each of a plain one and one with sultanas. (I still asked and got an extra scone but I felt bad when k found out they literally have to bake them upon order.) The pastries were decent. I think the price is a bit expensive for the whole experience (and I’ve been to at least 10 afternoon teas at major hotels in London.) I might come here again if I wanted to have a quiet conversation with no waiter/ waitress butting in though.

This was a very important and special celebration for myself and a dear friend. Our time at the cosy (yet spacious!) tea room was very memorable. The service was excellent, And the super yummy tea (with one of us gluten-free and beautifully catered for) was exquisite. Returning whenever a time for a special treat is in the diary!

We arrived in London and realized we forgot to plan a tea reservation for our only free day, which was the next day. Horrors. We tried the “big two” popular teas with no luck, and then started using Google maps to try to find anything - never expecting to find something that would be satisfying. The Milestone came up available, and I wasn’t sure it would be special. Boy, was I wrong! The service, teas, experience, sandwiches, sweets, and scones were exceptional. The signature chicken sandwich was to die for. Topping everything off was the joy for me of realizing that The Milestone was a Red Carnation property - as a travel agent I am familiar with these wonderful hotels as well as all of the different companies under the umbrella of The Travel Corporation. I can’t say enough of how wornderful this experience was. A joy. Thank you!

More than a restaurant, it’s an experience, an unforgettable one with a great ambiance and friendly staff. I’ll only add a special detail that will forfeit this standard of Restaurant and it is to substitute the regular pockets of sugar for sugar cubes when safety measures for pandemic allows it. ????????

This was a wonderful experience, especially for first time London travelers. Located across from Kensington gardens inside of a hotel, this tea room is a quaint but pristine location. The staff was very kind in taking photos of us and very interactive with the guests. It appears pricey at first, but it is more than worth the amount you pay. There is an abundance of delicious food to be had as well as tea and champagne. Definitely show up hungry.
