6.5/10My wife and I had a nice 3rd anniversary dinner, the food was good, service was good, but it did not WOW us like other 3 Michelin star restaurants that we've visited had. For example - my wife mentioned how much she loved the bread, yet we had to keep asking for our bread to be topped up rather than proactive offering.

10/10Went there for wife’s birthday, our family party of 5 had a 9:30pm late reservation. The service was impeccable, and staff did not rush us at all despite it being pretty late. Food was amazing. We had a two star Michelin dinner in Paris just a few days before and have to say I get why they got the extra star. They even obliged to let my son keep a couple of the scallop shells as a toy/souvenir for his aquarium. Great experience 👍👍

7/10Regardless of the complexity of applied techniques, quality of ingredients sourced, or presentation replete with pomp and circumstance, the flavors must marry and the dish ultimately must taste good. And aside from the initial dish comprised of a toasted sesame crisp with radishes, I cannot qualify any of the following dishes as such. It was a disappointing experience.

10/10A first class experience as one would expect from a top exponent of the art. The only thing that was a little off putting was the smell of the seaweed served with the scallops. A little overwhelming. But otherwise flawless.

9/10Everything was perfect and the staff were very nice and adjusted the menu to my requirements while still making me feel I get the three star experience. My only comment is that it’s too cold in the restaurant - the temperature is set for men wearing suit jackets, so a woman in a simple top will be cold.

5.5/10The Dorchester Hotel is compromised by Alain Ducasse . Food is average, nothing special, tiny portions. The Grill is much better than AD. Been to a few M 3 stars so far GR is the best of all.

10/10Me and my partner decided on Alain Ducasse for our anniversary dinner and went with high expectations. The tasting menu was fantastic; so many wonderful dishes, every single one of them at the very peak of refinement. The lobster tail, which has been on the menu since 2007, was an absolute showstopper. As a special treat for our anniversary, the kitchen prepared us the Rum Baba for dessert - which apparently secured Ducasse his 3rd star in Monaco - and what a treat it was! The staff were uniformly excellent and went out of their way to make our occasion go from the special to spectacular. They speak of the food with pride and take that pride into every aspect of their service. Ultimately, this place has the reputation it does for a reason, and it more than exceeded our very high expectations.

9.5/10The good and service were everything that you would expect from a restaurant of this rating. The wine pairing was superb with clear and concise explanations of not only where the wine came from but also why it had been selected to compliment each dish. A fantastic experience all round with exceptional food and exceptional staff.

8.5/10I love the food!!! Fantastic in my opinion! The service was a bit messed and confused. I drunk a 200£ glass of wine to try, it was very good. Then I asked for the wine list again to choose another one and instead she brought another 205£ glass of wine and both of times, wasn’t served in front of us. They didn’t charged for that but it may they feel bad or something. I apologize too if the case I don’t speak a good and native English. But my friend also asked for the wine list. The truffle surprised us with an extra of 500+ £ for 21 grams. Didn’t know that was gonna be so expensive and I don’t know if I’m right to had a balance or something in front of us. But taking these details apart, it was a royal experience to me.

7.5/10The restaurant's decor felt a bit out dated. All dishes were not of the same quality. In particular, the fish portion was not satisfactory. The wine selection is excellent and the staff was terrific. I am not sure I would return a second time.

8.5/10Dining here was truly an extraordinary once-time experience. All but one dish was exciting, even if the components sometimes felt disjointed. The raw mackerel left something to be desired, but the scallop and desert were out of this world. The service was almost too attentive, so it sometimes became difficult to have an intimate experience. Our sommelier was the most wonderful storyteller and was the absolute highlight of our week, much less our dinner. The descriptions of the courses, however, was more perfunctory. Also, there were some off notes periodically in the scent of the area of the restaurant were we were sitting. The portions were generous and the extras were beautiful and fun. The challenge is really the value proposition. At this price point it is essential that everything be absolutely perfect in orders for us to return.

8/10Arrived 10 mins early .. very pleasant and helpful staff…. Now i had booked this a month ago and was pleased but surprised to get a table on a Saturday night ..and as we were early the restaurant was well lets say you could have chosen where to sit so was a little disappointed not to be placed in the main room .. it didnt matter as we engaged with a very nice couple on the next table which enhanced our experience…. She was stunning and he was famous altho we couldnt figure out who he was lol after 6-7 glasses of good wine and god knows what else we were very relaxed in eschothers company ..which is very nice .. onto the food .. canapes were nice and fresh but didnt blow me away .. the first course was interesting .. textures .. nutty .. crispy but the veloute was a bit wet and needed some body … now the next course .. seabass ..raw with cucumber, seaweed and cardamon again needed some punch .. very fresh but not befitting a 3 ⭐️ Tasting menu ..however this is where it started to get a bit goid the lobster and cjicken dish with lobster bisque was fantadtic made better by £60 worth of fresh black summer truffles .,???????? .. lobster slightly under and chicken quenelles a bit small so couldnt get full flavour .. but the bisque was exceptional

5.5/10If this were a 1 star I would have given a much better rating. But for 3 stars? No way, I went to claude bossi at bibidum the night before, which has two stars, and bossi was better in every way. Three stars is supposed to be perfect in every way. The pinnacle of service, food and ambience. Just wasn't there. I'm leaving a full review on my website so I won't here. But michilin needs to go back here. I'm sure the stars will get stripped

8.5/10We had a lovely quiet table in the corner of the room and chose the tasting menu with paired wines. The service was great - attentive without being intrusive. Each course was beautifully presented but we found the first couple of courses interesting and complex but not as outstanding as we had hoped or compared to other tasting menus we have enjoyed. It is a real food and wine experience and one to tick off the list but there are other better tasting menus out there for better value.....

8/10The signature dish was amazing and the fruit and vegetable and dessert courses were great, but the fish and lamb courses missed the mark. They both attempted to be mild and sophisticated, but there was nothing particularly inspired about the attempt. The signature dish was truly, truly fantastic though.

7.5/10Service was average, had to keep asking for drinks. Food was good but a little disappointed given the 3 stars. Chocolate dessert was incredible though, that really saved it.
