5/10The place it's self is nice, the service OK but the food is poor and over priced for what it is. Had pizza and fish and chips. Pizza standard, but fish and chips was v poor. Cheap tasteless chips ( thin cut and not the chunky as described), crushed peas had an overpowering onion taste and could not eat (again no onion described on the menu) and fish OK but reminded me like it had come straight out the box. More like a Mon to Fri dinner special or a quick home made tea after work. Too expensive for what it was and would not recommend or return on this basis.

7/10Lovely space except no room to sit comfortably . Tables to wide for space. Polite staff but incredibly slow at service as not enough of them. Food tasty but over priced

4.5/10Poor GF options on the menu. Once ordered a GF dish from the menu was then told it was not GF 5mins later. Mains took 30mins to clear after finishing food. We were not offered more drinks, we had to ask. Food was average. I think you need more staff or more competent staff.

8.5/10Staying at the hotel alone as I’m meeting up with friends this week. Decided to eat at the hotels restaurant as it was my first night at the hotel. Great vegan burger with fries. I also had a side salad which was great. Staff were friendly and food was served in good time. Would recommend.

10/10The staff were really attentive, food came out at a great pace, even more appreciated as they had another massive party in the restaurant but we weren’t impacted. Great service. Delicious food, exceeded expectations of a hotel restaurant.

10/10I had a fabulous experience dining in the Tempo restaurant. The food quality was high and I also thought the pricing was very reasonable. Thoroughly enjoyed Lamb Chops and were cooked to perfection. Kathy and her colleague on duty were very attentive and welcoming.

8/10Restaurant very good atmosphere and service, my partner had the burger which was very good but unfortunately I had the haddock and it was below par thus 3/5 for the food.

6.5/10Took almost 2 hours to get a main course and a coffee. Completely by the staff and had to try to catch their attention to get anything moved forward. Nice enough when you did engage them, but felt I was sitting on a ghost table

9/10A lovely vibrant restaurant with a great atmosphere. The menu has lots to choose from, buttermilk chicken burger and steak were delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive.

4/10Bread used for bruschetta was a touch stale. Burger used for the cheeseburger was not flame grilled, and strawberry ice cream had ice crystals in a bit of it.

4.5/10Staff were very friendly and polite but service overall was very slow (1hr wait for 3 pizzas and a burger) with only 8 other diners in the whole place). Menu very limited although food was very nice. Ice cream was very cheap and tasteless. Prices reasonable. Nice decor. Wish we'd gone elsewhere though as it was as a birthday meal and they were unable to do anything special, zero ambiance being empty.

5.5/10The food was overall quite good . Service was shambolic however . Our reservation was for 6.00pm . We got our starters for 6.25 and our main by 6.50 . So far so good . The waitress then , I think , completely forgot us . We tried repeatedly to get her attention but to no avail . We walked out at 8.00 having waited an hour for desserts . By this time the restaurant was approximately half full and other diners were complaining about how long the food was taking . A table of ladies who came in after us at 6.30 told us , as we were leaving , that they were still waiting for their main courses . This was at 8.00 .

7/10Food was good. Steak was nice. I had the katsu curry just wish it came with more sauce but I enjoyed it still. Soup was lovely also. It had a nice ambience. Service was friendly!

6.5/10The actual experience was lovely first time going . We had drinks at bar then went onto resturant . I orderd the steak and chips , steak was appalling very fatty presentation wasn't the best my partner ordered the pulled pork pizza as wasn't alot he fancied , which we was told it wasn't avaible they had 2 menus so we asked if we could order from other one wanted it to be special as it was my partners birthday which I did inform them about prior booking. The answer was no we had to order from the menu we was given as the chef said so we were told. I spent a considerable amount of money my partner was told he can have chicken on pizza instead , wasn't happy pizza came and it was not nice at all we left it and I left some of my meat, the waiter was very helpful and said he wouldn't charge for pizza but I still paid £130 champagne was £95 so was still charged £35 for food which was a starter of brioche bread and the steak and chips. The starter was the best of the meal if I'm honest. In total I spent £200. It was quite annoying as I wanted it to be special for my partner birthday as the food was not good at all.

7/10Food quite fancy, huge portions. Had a 3 course meal booked but there was no flexibility. Asked for a side instead of starter which was the half the price of starters but was demanded that I would have to pay for this as an extra and could not swap it as a starter even though it was half the price of a starter. Felt rushed into eating all 3 courses as staff wanted to go home. Seating not the most comfortable.

10/10Beautiful modern hotel, very clean in all areas of the hotel. The restaurant staff were all very friendly, lots of smiles and checking we were happy with everything and even asking if we were ready for each course of our meal. Loved that the food was piping hot. Bonus was the privacy given around each table. Delicious food with a wide range of choices for each course.

3.5/101st of all there was no white wine at all to accompany our meal, secondly my partner’s burger had to be sent back as it was burnt I mean seriously burnt charcoal in fact, so then it took another 10/15 mins before it returned by which time I had eaten my meal so as far as eating or having a meal together that never happened. My dessert was frozen solid

10/10Absolutely superb! The team were very attentive I had the squid to start - hot, crispy & tasty. The beef for a main came with tasty al dente vegetables & a perfect mash. And they paired it with a super Malbec for me, the desert of Frangipane & Eton Mess? Get your own!!!

7/10The food was delicious all but the sticky toffee pudding which had a burnt bottom so left a bitter after taste. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the service, there wasn’t many tables of customers no more than 8, Yeh service was very slow. We had nearly finished our starters before receiving our first drinks. After each course we felt we had to put our plates to the edge of the table in order for them to be cleared. But still it took a while. No soup spoon was provided either. Would love to go again as we feel the service we received probably isn’t the usual standard of service they provide however on this occasion it fell short.
