2/10Cost a fortune - almost £30 for an adult. Food very poor quality. Desserts mass made rubbish. Cost cutting at every turn - you can’t even have ice cream in a bowl, you have to have it in a vile black cone. No fizzy drinks included, just cheap juice and cordial. We had 2 tables and when the people from one table popped to the toilet, the staff started moving their bags off the table! Bizarre. If they didn’t have the hotel guests as a captive audience, this rip off joint would have gone out of business years ago. Avoid like the plague.

3/10We used to love eating at Flambos, but this time found it to be so overpriced for a really poor selection of food. We currently have Merlin passes so get a discount, but it’s still massively overpriced. £59 for 3 of us just to have very basic food. No coffee machines in the morning either and only diluted squash included at dinner. No bread rolls on offer anymore either. Two of our party have ended up with upset stomachs too. The food overall in Alton towers has gone downhill massively, and there are no other options when staying at the hotel. Very disappointed.

8/10the food was lovely. the self service drinks needs to be checked more regularly. the staff were helpful and polite and considering how busy it was (and the attitude of some other customers), I found them incredibly professional!

5.5/10Not enough food. No cold milk for cereal, just little plastic pots, only one choice of cereal, children especially need more than one choice, ran out of bread so wasn't able to have toast with my breakfast, very poor. Staff were trying to be helpful but embarrassing for them

3/10Over 3/4 of the hot food choices had empty dishes and replenishment was slow and ad-gov. Staff meant to serve the car every roast meat were miserable and unhelpful and it was an effort for them to serve. Food choice was the worst I’ve ever seen in this restaurant and have been visiting for over 10 years. Food quality was good, as usual but the rest of my comments let the entire experience down. It also worried me when I saw staff clearing empty tables and putting unused cutlery that had clearly been touched by the previous diners back for the next to use! - particularly when I saw the previous diners who were coughing and sneezing all over the table!!

5/10Food is completely average. Just about warm enough but not really hot. Good choice of options but quality of meat etc pretty poor. Tables are far too small, trying to fit four people on a table designed for two is tricky. Couple this with lack of servers to quickly clear plates and you end up with a jenga style stack squeezed between diners. The restaurant is too dark, even at breakfast and it’s really hard to see your food. It’s fine, edible and acceptable but at the price they’re charging, we’ll probably find an alternative next time.

10/10Our experience was great. There are many vegetarian options to choose from. And they have a separate kids area where they have kids food options with a lot of variety. Food tastes great and staff is polite and friendly.

2/10What a difference two years make. We were really excited to come here. We had always raved about the place being great value and having lots of lovely food to chose from to suit all. We actually made a point of extending our day to include a trip to Flambos as our teen requested it. Cost cutting everywhere but prices still high. Really small menu, food service area reduced a lot so a much reduced menu to go with it. Lots of staff, lots of swearing from behind the counters. Warm mousses in dessert section were a particular low point. I hope they get the feedback and make improvements for the better. Kids school dinners are better than this.

9/10We only had breakfast here but no shortage to choose from. The sausages could be better and would be good if you could add black pudding to the selection. But all in all a good place to eat and a nice relaxed vibe just perfect to set you up for the day at Alton Towers.

2.5/10there was no staff so we went to the table on our own, I know the breakfast is included for our stay but again it was awful, food was cold and had no taste coffee was bland so didn't eat or drink anything, such a disappointment things really need to change because it let a good stay a big let down.

7/10We have been for several years now and have always had great service and food for breakfast. This year however we felt the staff were not as present and the options were slightly more limited especially for breakfast drinks. The machines for the orange and apple juice were overflowing in the drip tray both mornings but this was probably due to both mornings the machines running out and just giving a very watered down version. The decor needs a little updating as it’s a little run down. The food itself still very tasty!
