Second visit, lovely place in a lovely setting will definitely come again. First visit sat by the fire, second visit outside by the canal. Food and service great.

The menu has been cut back it’s almost impossible to choose . I decided to have a king size prawn and mango salad they were not king size prawns they were minute , had ice cream for dessert , 3 small spoons of ice cream for £6/95 , £2 /30 for a small spoon of ice cream , not good

The restaurant was moderately busy, enough to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The waiting staff were prompt, helpful and friendly throughout the meal. Starters were fine, but my husband’s ribeye steak, though cooked as requested, was more gristly and fatty than expected. In fairness, we received a genuine apology from the restaurant manager and our coffee/brandy order was free of charge. This was much appreciated.
