10/10Well I didn't expect this restaurant much because there were a few not-good reviews about this restaurant. But I'm mistaken. All of their service was polite, warm, and professional. Especially Spyros's service made our night perfect. Great experience with a gorgeous restaurant!

7/10We were excited to dine at Angler - however considering the crazy price we were charged, we were disappointed that it was less than perfect. Food was a bit fussy, service was a bit buttoned up, and on an early Thursday evening the place was almost empty apart from a noisy group of colleagues having a leaving do. We won't be hurrying back to spend that amount of money on an experience that would have cost half the price (and still been expensive) elsewhere. Sorry, folks.

10/10A meal at Angler is always a splendid experience. Wonderful flavours, mouth-watering wine, perfect service. It manages to combine a hushed ambience with a feeling of complete privacy: it's a great place to sit and talk.

10/10Super food, an excellent experience. The lunch menu is well priced bearing in mind the quality of the meal along with the excellence of the service.

6.5/10The outside terrace was closed for a function in the evening at lunch time as well as the bar area. Our starter ran out so they had to replace it and then our side ran out! Desert was very bland, overall disappointing for a michelin star - Im surprised it has managed to maintain this rating.

6.5/10I have been at Angler before COVID happen and back than I really enjoyed the experience in this restaurant. I came back this time and I regret it. Really not up to Michelin star restaurant. we had testing menu with paring wine fillet of cod one was too cooked and the other not enough. the wine was a VERY small quantity for the standard of this kind of restaurant. I am extremely disappointed, I'm not going again for sure

10/10Food, Service & Ambiance were excellent Wine pairings with tasting menu were very weak Quality low, not necessarily matching food & infinitesimal pours for a very expensive wine pairing

8/10Ate there on a Friday night. There were hardly any customers and the only menu available was the tasting menu at £135 per person (more with wine pairings). My guest was allergic dairy and gluten. They had trouble accommodating this but tried very hard. The real problem was that their tasting menu was identical to the last time I was there in July. By late September I’d have a Michelin starred restaurant to have evolved. So, while I reviewed the July visit with a hugely positive comment, maybe this is a place not to return to. I don’t think I will.

10/10We had the six course tasting menu and it was fabulous, everything tasted amazing so fresh, full of flavour & exquisitely prepared. Staff were attentive & friendly whilst not being overbearing. We had a truly memorable experience.

7/10The food was good, with some very good courses. The service was a little slow and the bill was wrong (by several hundred pounds) when it came.

9/10The staff were very friendly, but a little difficult to understand, and there were a lot of them! Food was excellent, especially the pre-meal snacks.

10/10As you’d expect from the name, the focus is on the fish and the quality was superb, perhaps the best we’ve had in London. Menu is a little on the narrow side but quality over quantity, and this quality was reinforced by the additional tasters between courses. Perhaps it is because the presence of a Michelin star restaurant is not obvious from outside or even much as you go in the hotel, it was refreshingly quiet but this place deserves to be much better known and a regular spot. I may regret saying this when it gets harder to book a table

6/10The kitchen is very good, quality ingredients well prepared and presented. But this is too much of a corporate, cold venue where individual diners don't enjoy the atmosphere. Management seems indifferent, and the understaffing puts waiting staff under pressure. There are better, warmer, more welcoming options available in London at this price point.

6/10Whilst the food was actually very good, the surrounding service was terrible (courses delivered the wrong table and in the wrong order and an extremely long delay comparatively between two courses), mediocre interaction with the table (do you want wine rather that would you be interested in the wine flight or seeing our wine list, continuing to attempt to fill my wife’s wine glass after being said no more, and finally asking for the bill and watching the two staff get it and then run away to deal with another table and then brought the credit card machine before the bill! They were very lucky to get their 15% table service charge

6.5/10Food was very good overall although our main fish course had no sauce. As pescatarians we couldn’t have the bacon sauce on the menu but the chef didn’t substitute it with another suitable sauce which was disappointing. The service was a bit inadequate with a few errors. Also the glass of champagne was more like half a glass!
