We really enjoyed our meal at Apero. The restaurant is not jammed with tables, there's enough room between tables, is very clean and lovely. Food was very nice, served quick and warm, we really enjoyed it. They had Gluten Free options. They have menus and 2 × 1 cocktails options during some hours. Totally recomend, it is a nice place.

I booked a table at the Apero restaurant for a special treat for my mum and brother for breakfast. Although we had our small cases with us as we were leaving after breakfast, none of the staff helped us with these or guided us to somewhere we could store them until we asked. We were directed to a table set back from the main restaurant area which was cordoned off with a curtain. It was very warm and we didn’t feel any ambience or enjoy the surroundings because we were separated from the main area. I don’t really think it should be used as a dining area. There were plenty of tables empty throughout our whole meal but we were told we needed to vacate the table by 11am. Staff seemed subdued and it was painfully quiet. There was no warm welcome and I don’t think I saw any staff look happy. The food was ok and was served promptly but for the price I expected a higher level of service and unfortunately our experience was quite forgettable.

A lovely restaurant close to South Kensington Tube, my friend and I went for Sunday brunch, we both enjoyed our food - a burger and fries and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, followed by a delicious cheesecake. The service was attentive but not intrusive, we will be back.

Very convenient after a visit to the V&A. Service got off to a shaky start, but was soon sorted, Food good, ambience -good,although the staff seemed keen to sit all diners in one specific area, and looking around some of the space unused at that time looked a better location to sit .

Having been a few times I suggested Apero to a friend and we both loved it – the lamb cutlets and the risotto we had were so delicious, and the ice creams were gorgeous. I had the chocolate semifreddo, which was delightful (especially the popping candy surprise). I’ll definitely be back again!

Really lovely place for our “girly” lunch! Although it’s in a basement windows provide lots of natural light, and the decor is a lovely combo of rustic modern and traditional. Staff were friendly and attentive, food was great…we (5 of us) shared a meze platter and each had a small plate, but actually thought we’d have been better with two grazing platters between us. All the food was beautifully presented and really tasty.

The location has style and flair, though it was a bit noisy on the evening when we visited. Starters and desserts were very good, however, the main dishes were without much taste.
