Very convenient after a visit to the V&A. Service got off to a shaky start, but was soon sorted, Food good, ambience -good,although the staff seemed keen to sit all diners in one specific area, and looking around some of the space unused at that time looked a better location to sit .

Having been a few times I suggested Apero to a friend and we both loved it – the lamb cutlets and the risotto we had were so delicious, and the ice creams were gorgeous. I had the chocolate semifreddo, which was delightful (especially the popping candy surprise). I’ll definitely be back again!

Really lovely place for our “girly” lunch! Although it’s in a basement windows provide lots of natural light, and the decor is a lovely combo of rustic modern and traditional. Staff were friendly and attentive, food was great…we (5 of us) shared a meze platter and each had a small plate, but actually thought we’d have been better with two grazing platters between us. All the food was beautifully presented and really tasty.

Wine list very limited on white wine. Not much fish option. Quite surprised it closed at 11 or 11.30 on a Friday night as on the website it says open til later.

Been coming since 2015 when visiting London and never been disappointed. Great food, great service and good value for money. This time we took friends who didn’t know about it. We shall certainly visit again on our next visit.

Our waiters were great. Very attentive. I wish I would have heard what their favorites on the menu are. The menu didn’t have a wide variety imo. Needing a little more reach. Cocktails were great except not filled to the brim. Considerably lower in volume.

This modern restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Great food, service and cocktails. Reasonably priced. Would go again, not too sure how it would be on a rowdy Fri night in terms of acoustics though!

The starters, desserts as well as service were all amazing. However I do feel as though the mains were slightly disappointing, while still quite tasty, the steaks we had were overly salty and burnt on the outside. While a good amount of char is understandable for such a cut of meat, it was charred to the point of bitterness, not an ideal taste in steak. The risotto while being great in texture and presentation, fell short slightly in terms of flavour. It was creamy and heavy yet felt slightly too bland. Overall a very good experience and given the opportunity would dine again.

This is a hidden gem in South Kensington. Excellent good, friendly staff and reasonable prices. We have eaten here for breakfast and dinner, and would highly recommend the restaurant.

The food was OK, but probably wouldn't go again as we found better restaurants during our weekend break. The service was awful as we had to ask for everything!
