6.5/10The food was very good, the lady who served us tried very hard but was over worked, not enough staff. Worst part, we felt the takeaway trade was more important than seated guests. We unfortunately were seated next to the entrance, all evening courier services called in talking on their phones and takeaway customers constantly coming and going. Ruined the evening for us. Such a shame!

9.5/10We’ve been before and like the layout of the restaurant. The place was quiet (Thursday evening), but everything on the menu which we requested was available. The food was served quickly and of very good quality. Staff were friendly and efficient and there when needed. Cost was ok for a good restaurant. Its a comfortable place.

Thank you Richard for such a thorough review. After the Christmas mayhem the beginning of the year is more subdued in the restaurant, and the weather doesn't help either... but it doesn't last :-)

7.5/10Food was delicious and prompt. A little on the pricey side. Hostess was very attentive. Atmosphere was a bit subdued and we were seated in a corner table at the back of the restaurant. Would go back but would try other Thai restaurants first.

Hey Emma, I'm pleased you found our food delicious and service prompt. Price is dictated, first and foremost, by quality ingredients, which we won't compromise on. Atmosphere is generally dictated by the people in the restaurant, but you can always ask to be moved and we will endeavour to accommodate. Hopefully you will return and if you do, please let us know about your experiences at other Thai restaurants.

8/10We visited on New Year's Eve. The staff were working very hard but for a full busy restaurant it was obvious more staff were required. The food, when it arrived, was as excellent as always but our meal took 3 hours from start to finish. Still it was NYE! Would still return as we know this wasn't their usual service.

9.5/10This is the best restaurant in Bishop's Stortford in my opinion. The tom yum soup is very well named and the other dishes are also excellent.

2.5/10Food was very disappointing, sent 2 dishes back as couldn’t eat them, 1 being chicken & prawn pad Thai but we received what look liked boiled ham (apparently pork) & chicken, not good, slimy noodles that we couldn’t eat, the 28 day sirloin steak was grey & tasteless, the only dish we ate was the red Thai curry but the chicken was a bit strange to say the least, beer was served semi cold which didn’t help & the G&T wasn’t that good either. Unfortunately won’t be returning but we use to go to one in hertford a lot as the food served there was very good.

I'm really sorry that you were disappointed with the food, but a little surprised as we have other complementary reviews from the same evening. We will, of course, always change dishes if you are not entirely happy with them, which I believe you were offered.

Although we were a few minutes late, we were greeted work a smile and choice of table offered. Staff were quick to take our order and the food arrived quickly.

9.5/10We have visited many times over the years and it still retains very high quality, tasty food and friendly service. Just one disappointment, the pandan pancake has been taken of the menu!!!! Please bring it back!!!

The food as always was delicious but the waiter we had (I think he’s new) forgot to bring cutlery, ask us if we wanted desserts, there was no check back whether everything was OK, and was a bit nervous serving our meals. Subsequently we didn’t feel he had confidence and were weren’t confident in him.

Thank you Sara, we may be a bit more expensive but we do try and source the very best ingredients. Good ingredients = good food. We are very lucky with the garden here, especially as it is away from the street, private and on a warm evening, there is nothing quite like eating Al Fresco.

3/10We’ve been here many times and normally it is good food However, this time we were not impressed with the quality of the food at all.

If you are unhappy with the food you need to mention it to us whilst you are in the restaurant. Then we can do something about it. We will always gladly replace your dish, but this is impossible to do once you have left. You have also scored us poorly for service and ambience but with no mention of why??

Hey Lauren, I'm sorry you felt to hot whilst you were dining with us, I am sure that if you had mentioned it to one of the staff they could have sat you close to a window or adjusted the heating to help. FYI, There were no other reports of people saying it was to warm?
