The starters went well and service was brilliant. The mains were terrible, Naans were left by most people and even us we don’t like to waste food but it was similar to a supermarket Naan. The Curry dish we went for was Chiken 65 which was ok, but the paneer butter masala and also Paneer tikka was pretty low on the level. The starters were a bit above average. Maybe the taste was more for non-south asian people.

10/10The food was really fresh - and way beyond expectations - very tasty! I would highly recommend this place - it will become my new local. They were out of Chia tea- which is probably testament to how good it is? I had the green tea, fresh leaf (rare to find this) and it was probably the best ever.

10/10From start to finish we had a great experience! The staff were attentive and helpful throughout our meal and provided us with excellent recommendations! The menu has a good range of choices and all the food was delicious! I would recommend coming here for sure!

10/10Charming friendly service. A bit different from the usual “Indian” restaurant. Some interesting choices available but still with the usual favourites. Decent wine, not at silly expensive prices. I’d go again.

5.5/10They do as well as they can, but the food isn’t for those wanting an authentic taste. If you fancy a no thrills curry and you have limited tastebuds this is the place for you. The butter chicken we ordered turned up and it was a tikka masala at best. Nice people and service was good, but just not for those who chase authentic Indian food in London.

10/10The menu at Babuji was nothing like the Indian restaurants we're used to in Ireland. Babuji's options were both original and appealing. Our waiter provided excellent guidance to my wife and I, and explained the various dishes. As a vegetarian, I had plenty of choice. I'm happy to confirm that the food lived up to our expectations; and we'll certainly come to Babuji again on our next visit to London.

10/10Probably the best Indian food we ever tasted. Great variety of authentic indian street food dishes, everything was well presented and came with tips how to enjoy best. It's a small shop on a busy crossroad, but the ambience is inviting and we didn't feel rushed at all. Staff was super nice also. Absolutely worth a visit, have to come again to eat everything on the menu.

9.5/10This small restaurant, serving indian street food was great! we were going to a concert at the O2 in Kentish Town and had booked here to eat before hand. What a find! the menu was really interesting, a bit different and the food served was excellent. I'd definitely come again. The buttery naan bread was ace, and the cup of chai at the end was warming. Overall the food was warming and delightful.

10/10This restaurant is opposite Kentish Town station, and also an approximate 10 minute walk from Tufnell Park. Great for gigs at O2 forum.The guys running were super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about their food. Really great place to eat, very recommended.

9/10Nice little restaurant right outside Kentish Town tube station. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We waited quite a lot for our food (probably more than 30 minutes) but we didn't mind as we were not in a hurry. Food was really nice and full of flavour. We had the Aloo Tikki Chat for starters, which was really good. For mains we ordered 2 different biriyanis, Dabba Gosht (meat curry ), Bangla Bhuna (chicken curry), rice and naan. We loved every single dish. Chai tea was amazing. We had a 20% off the food bill thanks to The Fork, which wasn't applied at the beginning, but after we told the waiter, he applied it without any problems. 12.5 % service charge is added to the bill. I will come back again for sure.

I believe this might be my first ever THE FORK review... We walked from Holloway Road to Kentish Town to try Bajubi's street food from India yesterday. It was incredible & the service was the same. It is right opposite the tube station for those of you visiting the area. We highly recommend it. We are vegan & were super happy to see the great variety of plant based options, we will be back again very soon :-)

10/10We love Babuji. Excellent Indian Street food. We have nearly tasted everything on the menu and have loved it all. The bottomless Chai is a massive bonus. The owner is incredibly welcoming. It's as good a place for lunch as it is for dinner. A real gem.

10/10This little restaurant was a great find! The staff was extremely welcoming, atmosphere is really pleasant and the food was just wonderful. Also restaurant is very tidy and has a nice touch of style. Enjoyed it greatly and definitely recommend!
