8.5/10We love Bar Esteban , although portions do seem to be getting smaller with the years. Really miss the octopus with paprika and potatoes.

9/10+2Atmospheric setting, delicious food with good quality ingredients, very well cooked and presented, and excellent service. Good selection of wines. The only niggle the portions on the main dishes should be a bit more generous. Orher than that, highly recommended!

10/10This and its sister restaurant Escocesa set the bar for modern Spanish food; inventive dishes, decor and seamless service — always worth the later sitting. The chargrilled cauliflower with salsa verde is out of this world.

9/10Excellent food, disappointed they didn't remove our full 30% discount, even after being challenged. Their refusal to remove £2, cost them £13 of service charge. Short sighted and unnecessary

10/10Looking for something different. Neither of us were familiar with tapas so decided to give this a try. the food was beautifully prepared and delicious. Despite being small plates, filling, even for the big lad. Our waitress was charming and helped us with our choices. Not big drinkers settled for a caraff of a nice house white. Will go again. Sadly no photos as concentrated with our food, but picture perfect.

8/10food was delicious and waitress very helpful but half our order hadn't arrived by the time everybody else was leaving so can only assume it was forgotten, it arrived very late and was delicious but the staff were already cleaning up by the time it arrived which wasn't ideal

10/10This is our favourite restaurant in Crouch End - so when we were planning to meet a friend it was an easy decision to go there. Food is consistently excellent as is service. It did not disappoint on this occasion.

10/10The ambience and food were excellent. We especially loved the beetroot salad, chipirones and ham as. The basque cheesecake was amazing too. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back. This is by far the best restaurant in Crouch End and one of the best Spanish restaurants in London.

7/10The service was good, and the food generally good also. However the evening was spoiled for me by the lack of light in the restaurant. I had trouble reading the menu due to it's small font and the lack of light. And removing shells from prawns while struggling to see clearly was not a pleasant experience. My companion also found the lack of light a problem.. kind
