Service was excellent and waiter offered to make any cocktail that wasn't even on the menu, hence had a Pina Colada which was blimin lovely. Food was good and well presented. Would go again.

We ordered the fish and chips afternoon tea. The restaurant ambiance and decor are very warm. The staff is very pleasant. All the food was served all at once on a tray with several layers. It looked and tasted great. We had fish and chips, eggs, scones and various cakes including chocolate brownies, lemon tarts and many more. We drank tea. We managed to redeem our yums on the Fork. A very enjoyable afternoon and a superb experience to repeat! Thanks a lot.

Lovely bar/restaurant. Staff were really nice. Starter took 45 mins to arrive. We ordered the pre theatre meal so we were time conscious we wouldn’t miss the start of the show. Food looked really good visually. Both starter and main were missing any form of seasoning. Even salt and pepper would have been welcomed. In my opinion the cook ruined the whole experience. Shame as the staff were lovely.

Had the Fish & Chips Afternoon Tea for 2. The portion size was huge! We had to get a box to takeaway. All 3 courses come at once. Everything tasted really good. It didn't come with the curry sauce or pickle egg, but we didn't want them anyways :) Some teas were unavailable but still on the menu - make sure you ask! The staff are lovely.

We booked a fish & chips afternoon tea. We were not too sure what to expect and we were so happily surprised. The place has a nice atmosphere with quiet and nice music. The table we sat at was by the window and very comfortable. The staff were so nice (especially Daniel). As for the food: lovely and light fish & chips - very good portions. Cakes: a full tray of yummy cakes - it was too much to eat in one go and we were nicely offered boxes to take them home. Drinks: coffee and tea were also very special. We also could use our yums as part-payment, but honestly, £30 / person was also very reasonable for what we got. They apparently also cater for all sorts of allergies, etc... if you ask them in advance. A fab little gem. We will definitely return there. Thank you very much.

Value for money on the pre theatre was good - but the burger meal presentation was boring and uninspiring although the burgers were tasty. Just a little bit of side salad with skin on fries would make it look more attractive. Service was generally friendly but don’t forget to check on the guests in the back when the restaurant is quiet.

It was a very nice experience overall. Really big portions and everything delicious. Fresh produce very well cooked. We have really enjoyed it. Only downside is the smell in the toilet but it doesn’t affect the quality of the place.

Perfect location for The other palace and the actual palace but service was poor and the food was disappointing too. Ordered two salads with chicken asked about size and was told the small size was a very big starter and the large was huge so both ordered small and added chicken and fries plus one lemonade and one blueberry cocktail. The salads arrived after about 20mins and size was good but one was missing components and no fries arrived. No one came to see us for about 20 mins then bought the missing component of the salad over on a separate plate. The fries only arrives after we had finished and I mean well and truly finished. No apologies either. Asked for the bill and was surprised at the cost £75. Went to bar to order and explain and had the fries removed. Only realised when i got home we had also been charged for the large size which we didn't have. Just a really poor experience
