    Great food, rustic surroundings, and super efficient service! We love this place and lost count of how many times we have been there. We arrive nearly an hour early and the young lady found us a table very quickly. The flavours were superb and the service was friendly and super efficient.

    My favourite Taiwanese spicy pork with Thai basil in London. Beef satay , not on wooden sticks, as a proper main dish, is another must have. Both yummy.

    Another excellent visit to this very lovely SoHo restaurant. Tasty food with good friendly service. Ideal for a pre theatre meal, but make sure you have a booking or expect to wait in the sometimes long queue that forms outside!

    A variety of Asian dishes including stir-fried chicken with bell peppers, steamed dumplings, crispy fried items, and rich meat in a glossy sauce, accompanied by rice and dipping sauces.

    Popular restaurant, autentic food and style inside. Some dishes were great and some not so much. Both main dishes were great, starters not so much. Friendly staff!

    Dumplings are the Chinese equivalent of fish and chips - street food but of a sufficient high quality. Xiao Loong bao (or more accurately xiao loong tang bao) is the gold standard by which all restaurants and dumpling inns should set their standard. the word "tang" reflects the traditional Shanghainese origin of this dish, namely a silken clear meaty broth inside the dumpling. In addition the wrapping should be thin and delicate. Regrettably, BD fell down badly on both counts - the wrapping was thick and stodgy, the filling was bland, and worse of all, there was minimal broth in aa few dumpling. the staff were cheerful and obliging - providing extra shredded ginger (a must for these dumplings) , without quibbling, unlike other Chinatown eateries.

    By the time we arrived, the restaurant was already practically full. When we left, there was a line outside. This restaurant has become so popular and well deserved. All the dishes with beef have been yummy.

    They open at 11:30am instead of noon like the other restaurants in Chinatown/ Soho/ Covent Garden/ Piccadilly Circus / Cambridge Circus areas. Before noon, the restaurant was full with zero tables available. Customers start waiting to be seated and that encourages even more people to line up outside for the next available table. Brilliant.

    We have been to Beijing Dumpling many times and the food and service has always been perfect. However, this time we had issues with the booking which we have never experienced before. Our reservation was for 6pm and we arrived just before, went inside and waited to be seated. At 6.02 one of the waiters came to us and asked us to go outside and join at the back of the the queue for walk ins (after telling him we had a reservation with TheFork !). We had to wait there and argue before someone else came in and acknowledged our booking. Lucky we had our reservation to hand !

    The Menu has a variety of recipes of various flavors. Really great food with a generous portion. The manager and service team offered welcoming customers service and deliver food very fast. Surely will come back soon

    A hearty spread featuring tender slices of beef and pork with fresh green onions and cilantro, a steaming bowl of broth, caramelized ribs in a sticky sauce, and a bamboo steamer likely containing dumplings or buns.

    We are the table that ordered so much ha! We were amazed by the portion sizes and although we were running late and they had a queue, they still gave us a table without any fuss. The food was very tasty and a huge variety of dishes available. The staff were lovely. We are looking to go back.
