Booked well in advance and asked especially for a quiet corner table to celebrate an 80th Party. Rang again the day before to remind them. We were put in the middle next to a party of 16 very noisy men and could not hear a word. Service was good, food fair only and pretty expensive - very disappointed.

The restaurant was very busy so their usual service was well below par. My seafood Vol au Vent was all spinach and button mushroom, no seafood. The main course of two of my fellow diners turned up cold. Not a good evening.

Old world style without ostentation. Exceptional service but not overbearing. And sublime cuisine, neither too rich nor too plentiful. This restaurant strikes the perfect balance with its relaxed formality, and feeling of visiting an old friend. I have dined here several times over the years and it has forever been consistent; the highlight most certainly being the lobster soufflé which thankfully has held its place on the menu! The excellent for a small group of friends, and dining in-laws (particularly if they are an earl and countess!)

While the service was good and the food acceptable, as a single diner I was treated to the worst table in the restaurant while plenty of other tables remained available throughout the evening. That ruined what would otherwise have been a delightful dining experience.

Bellamy's is one of a dying breed of restaurants, independant, unique, low key, excellent food and always overseen by 'Le Patron'. I hadn't been for some time, but was remembered. Service just perfect. It does get quite noisy when full (which it usually is) and the bench tables are quite close together, but it's well worth it and I'll be back.

Exceptional from the moment we arrived. Delightful hospitality, fantastic atmosphere - a classy yet fun vibe. The food was unbelievably delicious and the wine was beautifully paired by our waiter. Will definitely be coming back!
