Very unprofessional restaurant and staff. Due to the traffic jam of the new year we arrived a bit late (30 mn) but we called the restaurant to announce it and make sure everything was okay. They said no problem that we will have our table and that they understood the situation. However, when we arrived, they said they had no table and to just leave. We explained that with one person in wheelchair it will be hard to find a new restaurant at that time and all, but they said it was not their problem. The woman was really condescending, unpleasant and with no problem putting people out without even trying to find a solution. It’s the first time we’ve been spoken to like this in a restaurant, and it was really disrespectful, especially after we had warned them in advance and they said there wouldn’t be any problem. Awful experience !!!!!!

Dear Melanie Apologies for the inconvenience caused to you. 1. You had call to the restaurant and advice that you will be late with 15-20 min. In fact upon checking the cameras you come late with 43 min. You wasn't give us second call to say that you are late with another 20-25 min. Please note that as per restaurant rule if you are late with more than 15 minutes your space will be passed to other guest. Thank you

Barely decent food but terrible service. Upon arriving, we were left to stand around for 10 min although we had a reservation because all the staff was busy. Food service was extremely slow - one of our cocktails arrived at the end of the meal after the rest of the food had been served. The staff had to also constantly be reminded about things we had asked for 10 min ago, like salt & pepper, extra forks, or the bill. The green pasta with burrata was very bland - we actually don't think there was any salt in it at all. The raspberry mocktail tasted medicinal and unpleasant. The aubergine and broccolini fritters were delicious but the menu said it was served with a satay sauce and the sauce on our plate was nowhere close to what a satay sauce should taste like. Pomme anna was lovely and cooked to crispy perfection but again, was very underseasoned. The vegan chocolate mousse was probably the highlight but was served with no cutlery initially.

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday with two other friends. Took a while to get our drinks order and then we had trouble ordering food. Both friends have dietary requirements and sadly there wasn't much on the menu for them. They each managed to select something after a lot of backwards and forwards with the waitress. My french toast was nice but expensive for what it was. No atmosphere to speak of either. Don't think we'll return or recommend.

Food well presented and tasty. Points down for ambience as there was no music and room was cold, gentleman attentive noticed our jackets on hurrying to regulate AC. Service was great, however our final bill were not correct, fortunately we spotted it on time to be amended.

Didn't like the chicken dish much. They came quite rush at the end to sort out payment as they said they were closing. I told them I didn't want to pay the service charge but still put it through. I have since sent messages to the restaurant regarding this but not responded. Disappointing.

The menu has lots of choice which was great but the flavour was a little bland in the pasta dish and the pork belly wasn’t crispy enough to eat the skin. The starters were really good.

Attentive service. Burrata breakfast was tasty and the French toast with feta mascarpone and warmed berries was a nice change. Tried the pumpkin crème brûlée, glad we did but it’s a bit of an acquired taste. I like it when restaurants offer freshly squeezed orange juice. Really clean restaurant and comfortable chairs. Very clean and well maintained toilets.

Super service, lovely interior and fabulous food. Generous portions - chicken skewers were tender and succulent, perfect pork belly with flavoursome stir-fry vegetables. Lovely lamb chops - perfectly cooked.

The food at Bennie was really good - we had a couple of starters to share and then the beef cheek with sweet potato fries. The service was a little slow, despite the restaurant being largely empty. We went on a Monday for lunch and were one of maybe 3 or 4 tables, but I had to ask several times for my initial drink order to be taken and was sitting at the table for a good 15 minutes before it was. I was also not given a menu when I sat down after the rest of my group. The food came out quickly and as I said, was very good.

Super service - lovely staff. Delicious roasted cauliflower with butter bean puree. Perfect crunch to the broccoli tempura, which had a tasty dip. Absolutely amazing basque cheesecake - wow.

Super service and a great interior. Brunch was absolutely awesome - so tasty, freshly made and good sized portion. Farmer's (cottage) cheese pancakes with berries and sour cream - outstanding. Equally good were the eggs benedict with smoked salmon. Really helpful staff and beautiful passion bellini's!

Our group consisted of adults and children, and we were seated at a high table without prior notice. The table was too high for the children, so we asked to be moved to a standard table. However, our request was denied, and we were told that reservations for regular tables must be made in advance, despite not being informed about the high table when we booked. The food was mediocre, and the charcuterie board was disappointingly small compared to what other restaurants offer.

Lamb nan was cold and soggy - that was disappointing. They did try and warm it but it was really bad. Mushroom burger was alright but overalls staff and ambience was nice but food disappointed us.

Gorgeous setting in a lovely quiet area away from hustle and bustle. Great lighting and design in restaurant. Very fun and fresh menu with interesting choices and really lovely service. We will definitely go back! Loved the steak, wine, padron peppers and ceviche! All of it :D

The food was trying to be elevated but I believe the technique needs to be worked on a nudge. For example, in the beef tartar, the taste of the meat itself is covered completely by the deep fried potato, making it such the only thing you can taste is the “fried” element. The same goes for the pork belly Benedict. The meat taste is barely present. And finally the same applies to the meaty French toast. The maple syrup was too strong and covered anything else
