The flavour of the food was lovely. However the restaurant was cold and when we asked they said they could nothing about it the heating was on. (2 hours as we left it got warm). Our roast dinners sat under the 'hot plate' for about 10 mins arriving cold and with not enough individual vegetables. The waiter was too busy learning to tie his tie to see the vegetables were ready so we collected them ourselves. We choose this restaurant as we were celebrating a special occasion. occasio

Long delay for food and arrived 10 minutes apart. Staff leant over guests. Food very average and a salad requested as a main came out smaller than the starter!

My two friends and I chose the same main course, unfortunately there were only two portions left. I offered to choose an alternative. I would have expected the restaurant to have all options on the menu at 19.30 on a Friday evening.

Service a.bit.mixed, & food was hit & miss - some over cooked or undercooked. Maybe as v.busy 8-10pm. But a lovely setting and ambiance..Drinks menu good.

The waitress was friendly and helpful. However, the menu was smaller than I had seen advertised and they were unable to replace chips with new potatoes. Suggesting to me that they used frozen chips. I am always suspicious when the maitradee pushes water, bread etc without mentioning they charge £5+ each.
