Oysters were very tasty and so was the filet and eggplant parm with Haloumi. Service was excellent!! Nice meal. Tasting menu special was a very good deal.

Food in St Andrews is generally very American and poor; the food here especially on the fixed venue that one has to Google and find first of all-was amazing value at £60.for 2 people with a bottle of wine and the best food we have had in St Andrews for 20 years

My only course was a main course of trout: the fish was over cooked as were the green beans. The only reason I ate what was provided was that I hadn't eaten all day and I hadn't the energy to go elsewhere. Avoid...

Six of us dined at Bistro du Vin and had an excellent meal. We went back two evenings later and while the food was pretty good, it was disappointing compared to the first time. More importantly, there were a lot of mix-ups when it came to our orders and we did not get the meals that we ordered.

Splendid atmosphere overlooking the strands and the ocean, with elegant furniture and quiet environment...the service is to be improved though: cocktails were late and did not come together, the payment was requested before any bill was provided. The food is good and accurate, but the range of vegetarian and without gluten options is very limited. Excellent desserts.

I have not visited the restaurant for a number of years and this visit made realise how good the food was. The service provided by Daryl and Steven was amazing. So friendly and attentive and all down with a smile. Will definitely be visiting again and recommending
