2.5/10Restaurant itself is cute. But walking in on a Friday evening to the entire downstairs empty and only three tables occupied tells you this isn’t going to be a great night. Food came out far too quickly. Even the croquettes which were hot, came with the ham and the awful white bread. The empanadas weren’t cooked enough so they had raw pastry. And the secrets pork was badly overcooked, seasoned far too heavily and greasy. Not nice at all.

10/10We selected this restaurant on-line. Excellent and delicious food freshly prepared. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Nice, warm ambiance inside. Would thoroughly recommend Bocas for a great dining experience.

9.5/10This was a brilliant tapas place in the heart of Farringdon with excellent food choice and excellent staff. It wasn't very busy when we went but would highly recommend to anyone who loves tapas! This place deserves to have a queue outside of it!

10/10Very nice food and atmosphere, would highly recommend. Has a neat selection of empanadas and very well cooked steaks as well, would also recommend the beer and wine. Overall, very nice place to return to from time to time.

10/10Exceptional service, generous portions, delicious food. Swift delivery of food. We asked the waiter to provide enough food on the menu for two people and choose dishes. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of the dishes. Would highly recommend. Good value for money.

8/10We booked Bocas as love Spanish food and had just returned from Galicia. It was great to see classic Spanish dishes on the menu. The taste was amazing - steak was faultless. Although in London the prices did seem slightly higher than we would have been comfortable paying regularly so will not return.

6.5/10Loud, noisy, under-staffed. Food was decent. Service almost non-existent, likely due to staff being overwhelmed by # of patrons. Hard to screw up a gin martini, but still don’t know what concoction was delivered. Disappointing date night
