10/10Always been a firm favourite and go to restaurant for me. Over the years have always dined here with clients but took my wife on this occasion to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Great food (lamb chops to die for), exceptional service and just love the design and ambience of the BB. See you again in a few weeks!

9/10The maitre de was very helpful. The waiters and waitresses were annoying as didn’t know how to pour wine , were intrusive and pouring like pints. Also they smelt of BO! Other than that the whole experience of celebrating our sons 21st was very enjoyable. The food was stunning. The curries could have done with more sauce.

7/10The ambience and location of the restaurant is excellent. The service was good, but the food was a bit disappointing. The prices were rather expensive. I used to visit this restaurant regularly and in my opinion it has gone downhill.

10/10Excellent cuisine. Really high quality flavours and the spicy, chicken thigh curry (xacutti) I had was excellent. My only suggestion is it would be great if they could do proper sized poppadoms instead of the silly, mini ones.

9/10This was a night out to celebrate my partner’s birthday. We have been planning to visit Bombay Brasserie for a long time. The restaurant is beautifully laid out, we had a corner table for two and upon arrival we were greeted by the waiters and given pretty comprehensive food and wine menus. We opted for premier tasting menu, which would cover a combination of 5 courses of starters and mains. The food was impressively presented to us brought to table one at a time with lovely starters, from large tandoori prawn to succulent chicken breast etc. The mains included chicken Briyani, and roasted lamb, which was a little hard to cut and not as great as the chicken and fish dishes. Overall, it was a great experience of tasting so many lovely food combinations of north, south and east India. Service was impeccable throughout our dinner. Desert was average but by that time we were fully satisfied and full up with what we ate. The bill didn’t include any service, which was a great welcoming surprise as the prices in Al a carte menu are as expected medium to high! We obviously added a good sum to the bill for the service, but it is so refreshing to see a premier restaurant such as this one leaves the tipping for the service to their customers! Bombay Brasserie is well recommended for a great high quality Indian meal. We will return.

6/10The food was amazing and tasted very good, however there restaurant was extremely noisy which was a surprise considering it is meant to be well healed. The service today was poor - made a special request for an anniversary cake but never came despite being reminded. Very disappointed.

8.5/10It is a great place. I first went when it opened and I lived in UK and was working for BA at West London Air Terminal (now Sainsburys I think) so had to give it another try after forty odd years!! Most of the customers were Indian - which speaks volumes! Buffet was excellent. The only problem was the price. After talking to fellow dinners we found we were the ONLY customers in the house paying the published rates!! So criticism is our foolishness for not getting a good deal, not the restaurant..... Recommended highly for super Indian cuisine,

10/10I had dinner here in 1987, when I was last in London. The food, service, and atmosphere made such an impression, I've remembered it all these years and couldn't wait to take my husband here for Sunday brunch this visit. We were thrilled with every aspect of our experience here and highly recommend it to any lover of fine dining.

7.5/10I have dined a tB.B. around 6 or 7 times in a 10 year period, and the ambience and food is consistently great. What is ruining the exprience is the hastiness of the persone, they seemed impatiently concerned only to bill quick, treating customers as problems which should be rapidly disposed off, rather than guests to be entertained

8/10All diners were crowded into one large room. The table at the exit of the serving area was a disappointment and tainted the experience. The service was fast to clear every empty dish. You felt rushed as they hurried free up the table for the next sitting. The food itself was tasty but the prices are exaggerated.

8/10Nice ambience and good food - it would be helpful to have the name of dishes in English. As it was a buffet service, it was unpleasant to grab the big serving spoons on some dishes and realise the handle was sticky or dirty from other guests. A nice restaurant in a great location and authentic food but lacking attention to detail.

10/10I had the pleasure of visiting the Bombay Brasserie Restaurant recently with my friends and it was an indelible experience. We were welcomed with an atmosphere of warmth and relaxed luxury. The servers were friendly and attentive, and the chefs were generous in their interactions with us. The food at the Bombay Brasserie was truly unforgettable. It brought many fond memories from my youth - nearly 40 years ago - flooding back. All of the traditional Indian dishes, from Chicken Makhani to Malabar Fish Curry were cooked to perfection. The flavor and taste were just as I remembered them from my earlier visits. In particular, we would like to give a special thank you to Chef Lal Singh for his delicious parathas. It was a delight to have him come out and meet us in the dining hall. In short, my friends and I were thrilled with our experience at the Bombay Brasserie. The food was authentic and delicious, the service was top-notch, and the ambiance was absolutely incredible. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable Indian meal.

2/10The worst dining experience of my life. Staff refusing to give me a decent table as they were ‘full’ - they weren’t - two indifferent prawns and lumps of chicken listlessly served, at one point a blast of icy cold air as the staff for reasons best known to themselves opened the doors to the terrace, my friend even though he was having the same main course as me asked if he was ‘the chicken,’ one of the budget wines selected and still the bill for two in excess of £200. I used to love this restaurant, but never ever again.

10/10The food is excellent. Completely different than usual on the high street you experienced. The fish and duck were perfect. I took my business partner for dinner and we both would give 10*. And the wine was not bad at all.. Over all 10 out of 10!!

10/10I had been to Bombay Brasserie some years ago and was somewhat sceptical that this restaurant had retained its previous excellence. My friend insisted I take her there for her Birthday and neither of us were disappointed. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The decor with its high ceiling and ample space made one feel one had come to a very special place. The food was fresh , imaginatively cooked and a joy to eat. Prices though not at all cheap allowed us to have a supremely interesting quality meal for just over 60 pounds per head.

10/10Food was spot on. Each dish did not disappoint. Loved going and will be going again soon!! Myself and sisters absolutely loved all the starters, the flavours and touch of soft delicate touches.
