I had high hopes for this place. I loved everything I read online. I love the concept, food, ambiance but in real life the juice wasn't worth the squeeze. It had "nice cafe" vibes, but wasn't special in anyway. It was a Tuesday night and we were celebrating a huge work project we've been working long hours on for weeks. We were not getting drunk but we were talking loud and the manager asked to move our table to a small room. The dining room looked over as he obviously shamed us. The manager was annoyed and the wait staff never seemed equipped for a large table with questions. I was shhushed and told to wait to be explained a course then no one came to explain it. I would wait and everyone would start eating because no one came to explain. This might be a nice spot for a smaller party or perhaps only if you're from Berlin (our louder English speaking voices were offensive.) All it all the $1500 euros would have been spent better at a place with better food, better ambiance and people who want lively foreign guests.

Amazing dinner. We had reservations at 6pm, showed up a couple minutes late (we were waylaid by the Urban Nation museum, which is fantastic, btw). It wasn't busy, so we were shown to our seats right away. We got the 5 course tasting menu, vegan style, and everything was amazing. Great flavors, very innovative combinations. Service was also fantastic. Overall a wonderful evening.

I go to this place very often with my place since March, I guess. Food and service were always perfect. However last 4 times there was a new waitress that is very bad. First 3 times we haven’t mentioned that as she is a new and have to learn, but when 1 month or more passed and the person still is not making any progress, it becomes really annoying. But this time she was forgetting to bring something, then we have been waiting for too long for someone to take our plates so we could eat a dessert as it was getting cold and ice cream was melting. And each time to apply the fork discount is a huge problem and this time waitress took my phone and went to another colleague to ask, then she asked me if she can go downstairs with my phone. This made me very mad as phone is the most sensitive tool, especially when it’s not blocked. Shakshuka was not tasty at all, eggs Benedict (which is our favourite dish in this place) this time was cooked bad, the eggs were with the water inside and one of them fell outside. Honestly, we got so disappointed last 4 visits and especially this time, that we don’t want to come back to this place anymore. For your understanding, we’ve been there approximately 20 times which is quite often.
