9.5/10Sunday lunch was an excellent choice after the drive to stay at the Hotel it is within. It was Easter Sunday and very quiet but the food, service and friendly staff were very good. The restaurant is in a bright and airy orangery and although a little on the pricey side it was a pleasurable experience to the start of our few nights away.

A fabulous all round dining experience. The food was exceptional and good value for money, perfect wine and service was attentive but not intrusive. The restaurant was modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable. A must visit and we will dine again.

Warm welcome from staff. Calming and relaxing atmosphere. Food presentation was stunning and tasted amazing. We will definitely be back if we ever visit Bath again!

10/10This restaurant is a really excellent one with dishes, presentation and service at top- notch level. The menu is a 6- course one with choices of starters, mains and desserts and amuse- vouches and breads in addition . We were allowed, however to select a smaller meal for a reduced price. Absolutely gorgeous, elegant place in the hotel Bathen House. Our veal cheek with fillet steak, vegetables and dots of puréed artichoke was superb. My poached pear had a granita topping ( delicious) and husband’s sticky toffee pudding was excellent. He made “mmmm” noises as he ate, which is unusually appreciative from him. Prices highish but in London or even Newbury where we live they would be higher. And I cannot imagine a better place to take a guest to impress them, or for a special occasion.

10/10I returned to this restaurant because the food and service was amazing on a previous occasion. I was delighted to discover another exceptional welcome, menu, atmosphere and service. Staff are friendly and make you feel at home, especially important on this occasion, as I was dining alone. I could not have been any more relaxed or impressed with the food. !0/10 is not a high enough score - simply outstanding!

+1What a treat! The food was exquisite, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and professional. Would highly recommend a visit if you’re after a special dining experience. We had the 6 course taster menu.

9.5/10Visited and was very happy with the social distancing. A limited menu due to covid, but the choice and quality of food were great. Didn’t realise when we booked, but part of eat out to help out. Would love to return after social distancing and try their full menu.

6.5/10Nice service staff but uninspiring menu and no flexibility in variety. Granted it was a reduced menu due to COVID-19 but food could have been more palatable.
