7.5/10We love the concept of BR6 and the fact that we have a lovely meal and are hopefully helping the students with practical experience. This time we had a delicious 5 course meal, accompanied by a saxophonist! The music was lovely, though maybe a little too loud to allow for conversation. Our sorbet course was overlooked, but when politely mentioned we had it after the main course instead. We realise the students are there to learn but we ordered a bottle of wine which was emptied in one pouring into our 4 glasses, and the plates were cleared in a very haphazard manner. That said, the food was delicious and nicely presented and we look forward to going to another event in the future and would recommend the experience.

10/10Lovely evening with fabulous food. A real gem of a place to eat ! The restaurant is part of the college So is a place where students learn. They were all great this evening !!!

9.5/10Food was a little slower than I had expected to come out but it was totally worth the wait. Beautifully presented and tasted even better. Compliments to the Chef. Value for money was very good and I will be returning soon. One of Orpington's best kept secrets...!

6.5/10I ordered the chicken and creamed leeks. The chicken had virtually no taste. There were no leeks just cold salad put on my hot plate. No dressing or mayo. I complained and was told that were no leeks available but had I been told this I would have ordered fish instead. The french fries were brittle and I had to use my fingers to eat them. However, on leaving I saw that others had leeks with their chicken. I do not like salad so I left it. I informed the restaurant not to state something is on menu when it wasn't. The chocolate brownie was delicious and as I did not enjoy my first course and was hungry I ordered another brownie. However after 20 minutes I gave up as it had not arrived and when I asked, I was told that it was not ready yet. How long does it take to put a chocolate brownie on a plate, drizzle over chocolate sauce and put ice cream on top?

9.5/10Our first experience at BR6 was most enjoyable. Student service was very good considering they had missed a year of their course due to covid. The food was excellently presented and of first class quality. We already rebooked and have already recommended you to friends and family.

9.5/10As always the food at BR6 is exceptional and very tasty. We went to try the Surf n Turf evening and we’re very impressed (getting a medium rare steak perfect has often been disappointing in top class London restaurants - and the chef perfectly cooked it!). You do have to be aware that the students waiting tables are still on a learning journey when you attend the restaurant (and there are occasional small errors in customer service). However, it’s nothing that experience won’t iron out and they will become more confident when serving customers. They are closely supervised, and with time I’m sure their confidence will grow and they’ll smile a bit more :) Overall it was a really lovely meal out and we enjoyed it and will be back again!

10/10It has been a long time since i was last at BR6 because of the pandemic, and it is great that it is now open again (since November 21). The food is great, the staff including the students are very good indeed and whilst the students are still learning they are so nearly perfect already!! The confidence and skills of the waiting staff show they are being very well trained which is lovely to see, and they were all happy to help in any way they could. OK so it was only lunch with a reasonably limited 3 choice of each course but there was something for everyone. We weren't drinking today so a wider choice of soft drinks (sugar free) could have helped but the majority of our party preferred and liked the water! The price of lunch was extremely easy on the wallet too! So, service a 10/10,, food 10/10, I really like this restaurant and the friendly attentive staff, and it was a pleasure to be back after so long. I look forward to returning for more delicious meals, and also going to the bakehouse for their delicious breakfasts! Thank you

8/10Enjoyed a nice lunch at BR6 restaurant. Stuck to the set menu, would have liked a bit more choice. Only given this menu with three choices for each course. Service was a little slow, we waited quite a long time for main meal. The staff including our waitress were friendly and polite. Will visit again, probably in the evening when hopefully a larger menu and a bit more atmosphere. Saying that, the food we ate was very good.

10/10The food was excellent. Each course was very tasty. We really enjoyed the Christmas dinner. The turkey was moist and the roast potatoes were beautiful. We enjoyed every item on the plate. A really excellent dinner. Thank you. The staff were excellent. Very helpful. They couldn't do enough for us. Very kind and respectful. We really enjoyed our time and we would highly recommend it to anyone.

9.5/10Whilst is was sad to hear Marcella is no longer heading up 'the show' our experience was still excellent. The lady who looked after us was attentive and service pitched at the right level and the food of a good quality. As for the standard of hygiene the toilets were impeccable and as always a good indication of overall standards. My only criticism would be that the local produce element of the menu was not obvious.
