Great food & service as always
Feathered blade beef was excellent. Sea bass was good but the whole meal a little too small for a healthy appetite.
Early evening snack, all very quiet. Excellent meal economic.
Thank you once again for a lovely pre-theatre meal with excellent service, although it's very busy we did not feel rushed to finish quickly so able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace before the show.
We enjoyed our meal, although it was rather noisy. Fortunately we had a table at the side of the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our main course (sea bass), but were disappointed in the choice of desserts. There was nothing 'fruity' in the choice .. and we had already got vouchers for ice creams in the interval.
thE COURSES WERE WRONG, THEY WERE NOT AS ORDERED = ? MIX UP WIRTH TABLE NUMBERS
Very enjoyable pre-theatre dinner with friends. Good selection of dishes and diet options, speedy service and lovely flavours. Good quality wine.
Good food efficient service. Nice to have decent Vegetarian option
The service was quite good - only one mistake! The food was adequate but all in all quite disappointing. We have dined in the brasserie many times over a number of years, sometimes good sometimes not so good. we will be back at some time when we hear from friends that the standards have improved.
Excellent. - lovely , polite, smiling, clean and competent staff Delicious food - all 4 people agreed Service was prompt and efficient. From arrival up to paying the bill
Enjoyed the meal, wine and service
Excellent pre theatre dining
We come to Chichester to see a performance at the theatre, what better place to eat then, than the attached restaurant. The service is beyond reproach even when it gets busy. The food is properly portioned and the menu offers a wide range of choice to suit all presences. Then to top it all the price is reasonable.
A very pleasant dining experience. Excellent service, prompt arrival of food. The only negative was that the duck terrine comes without toast or bread: neither my wife nor I have ever eaten pate or terrine without toast or bread so this seemed strange.
Expensive for what is provided. Very small portions.
We arrived very late owing to an accident on the way. We were welcomed and served very quickly by cheerful and friendly staff. The food was excellent.
Service is always prompt and excellent, great balance, neither hurried nor waiting around for the next course. The food is great value, and not too expensive for the quality you get and how it's presented.
The meal was well prepared and the variety of dishes is very good. The waiting staff are very efficient and managed to get us all out in time for the theatre performance without being rushed.
The service was very good and quick. Only thing was the starters arrived before the bread! It would be nice for that to be the other way around. The food itself was delicious my partner and I had the same starter (which was a little bit too cold if being really picky) but a different main course and we liked all of them. Presentation of the food was excellent. One negative is that the only coffees available were espresso or americano. Surely you have a coffee machine that makes cappuccinos or lattes? If not, perhaps you ought to get one!
Ambiance excellent, and seating (I am in a wheelchair) very convenient. We choose the Brasserie when we go to the Chichester festival theatre because it is immediately convenient for the theatre and easy access for my wheelchair. Ambience excellent. Location, perfect - for the teatre. Menu excellent, and our food arrived very speedily. However, helpings were on the small side. I am not a big eater, but the food was sadly lacking in taste quality. Score only 4 out of 10 for the food. Sadly, there is no other convenient option, so we must put up with overpriced poor food. But if we go to the Chichester festival theatre again, we will try some other dishes and see if they have improved.
