I love a good prawn curry and I wasn't not disappointed at all, the spices in this dish was well balanced which I had with the pilau rice and the Tarka Daal went down well as a side dish with the roti. The service was excellent and they make sure that everything is to your satisfaction, I will be definitely going back again.

I saw this restaurant in an app called the fork. The restaurant promised a 30% discount, but when I went to this restaurant I paid without the 30% discount. So I think it's a scam just to attract customers.

I loved my visit to this Brick Lane Curry House! This restaurant is serious about curry and does a fantastic job accommodating indecisive or unsure customers who might not know much about the cuisine or struggle to choose. We started with some crisp poppadoms and enjoyed garlic and cheese naan alongside our meals—everything was delicious. I had a lovely medium curry paired with a pint of beer, which hit the spot. The service was quick and efficient, which I appreciated, though it would have been even better with a touch more warmth and a smile from the staff. Overall, it’s a great spot for curry lovers and beginners alike, with a menu and atmosphere that make you feel welcome. Would definitely return! Let me know if it’s perfect now!

Staff was very kind but it is the only positive about this restaurant. Service was slow and confusing. We have been served the dishes of another table, we notified that there was a mistake and, we have to wait longer to have the correct order. Tables were too close to each other and we could barely move. We have to wait too long to even receive the bill. Food was way below average. Pricey for the quality offered. We do not recommend.

Nice food but a bit bland. Waiter offered to take it back to the kitchen for more spice but we didn’t want the faff and preferred to just eat right away. A bit pricier than expected. I do love Brick Lane though!

Food was really good but it doesn’t help having a table behind you of approx 30 sub-25 year olds having a “birthday party” when you’re trying to have a meal in a restaurant. The noise levels were intolerable and they were only worsened by a loud waiter who was taking their orders. Sadly my friend won’t be returning and I think nor will I.

Most importantly, my picky kids loved the place. This really says a lot from my perspective. Overall, the food was good. They did bring in one order incorrectly, but it was good anyways and I did not care to even notify the waiter.

It can be daunting picking a restaurant on Brick Lane with so many to choose from and all claiming to be award-winning. Honestly, we went here because it was the Fork Festival and we got a 30% off deal, at very short notice, for a party of 11 of us to have lunch. We were all very happy with our choice: the food was excellent and the staff attentive. Mostly standards like Karahi, Rogan Josh, Sag Aloo, Bindi Bhaji etc. Special mention to the outstanding Chicken Shashlick and to the 'Green Chicken' with fresh herbs, which was like nothing I've ever had in an Indian/Bengali restaurant before and absolutely delicious.

Paid £50 using Yums. This was not discounted. This was queried and immediately rectified. We would go again. It was very empty, which meant the noise levels were great and the service decently speedy. The food was enjoyed by all. Disappointed on finding out that because we used yums as part payment there were items on the menu that we could not order (IE set menu for four). However, had a very nice night with people I love, good food and an unrushed atmosphere so we could really enjoy it. Thank you.

Cosy restaurant with attentive and pleasant staff. Great selection from the menu. The food arrived on time and was very enjoyable. Music not too loud as I was able to have a conversation. ( liked the music playlist btw! ) . Minor issue, carpet on the stairs could do with an update. TV screen could be a bit of a distraction but was not too much of a bother during our meal. Overall, Reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. Worth a second visit if in the area.
