Food was amazing and the seafood sharing platter was exceptional. The meal was let down by the main course arriving before the starter had been taken away from the table. It would have been better if we hadn't been rushed. All in all a good experience however the little things need to be better.

9.5/10The restaurants interior was very inviting and trendy with wide range of seating available. I had salmon with bok choy which was divine. The fish and chips was the lightest battered haddock we had seen in the last 13 days of travel through Ireland and Scotland. He will not forget those fish and chips. Shepard's pie with lamb was taken to a new level of comfort food. Our last entree was chicken supreme so tender and flavorful everyone had to taste. The server a young man with blonde hair was pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We had such a nice time at lunch we returned for dinner. Cheers

9/10Great service by staff. The food was lovely balanced with the speed of service - we didn’t feel rushed which was nice. Nice atmosphere and we were given a quieter table as partner has hearing aids

8.5/10Three of us had fillet steaks. Two were great; the other was on the thin side. Mojitos and Pinot Grigio were mediocre with not enough sugar or alcohol in the cocktails. On the whole, a good experience. The desserts were excellent and it was nice to have some live music.

10/10Lovely lunch today. Food which was well presented was absolutely delicious. £16.95 for a 2 course meal, and the portion size was great. We were going to have 3 courses but we didn't have any room left for a sweet. I would definitely recommend Brown's for price, food, and friendliness of the staff.

10/10We spent one day and night in Edinburgh visiting from London. We had a great time in Browns. The service was excellent and the food - steak and lamb - delicious. Décor impressive. Really recommend.

10/10Really amazing restaurant with excellent, well trained, and attentive staff. The restaurant had a wonderful deal until 5pm and treated our family very well. The food is excellent too, and the ambiance and decor is lovely. Very well run establishment and highly recommend this experience.

7/10My wife, used the booking I made on the Fork to dine with friends. unfortunately the restaurant choose not to honour the deal booked; rather they had no choice but to order from the A La Carte menu which was considerably more expensive although the manager did agree to waive the cost of their deserts. Otherwise, they enjoyed the food they were served even if it came at a cost higher than they had expected.

5.5/10Food quality was not acceptable. Waiting staff were excellent and the ambience was good. Not worth the money, we will not be back. This was a 5pm sitting and half empty restaurant. Kitchen lets this place down badly

The food is poor and the service not better had to fill the glasses of champagne myself. The roasted carrot was just raw on my meat. The broken meringue desser was served without meringue! The smoked salmon was poorly served like in a mess said my son of 12. Well over priced and unprofessional. They should go back to hospitality and cooking school !!!

10/10We booked a table for Christmas Eve and we enjoyed the festive menu. The ambience was great, nice colors and decoration. The festive dishes were awesome. The chef did a great job. Really enjoyed our Christmas Eve and is highly recommended.

2/10Really disappointed at The Fork and Brown's, sort it out please why allow me to book and let me tell all my friends about the booking and then email me to say its not actually booked? AVOID using The Fork and book with restaurant directly or you will be disappointed "guaranteed"

10/10Pan fried salmon dish was very tasty, accompanied by a glass of house red wine. My decaf coffee to follow was full of flavour, unlike many decaf coffee usually offered. Service was very good and I felt well looked after. The restaurant was busy with families enjoying a Sunday lunch .
