10/10Lovely scallops & the sole was also lovely We liked our table at the far end of the upper bit at the front so it was not too noisy Service was very good

9/10The food and staff were excellent. Request for table by the window and we were seated on a lovely table. Unfortunately, two ladies were seated next to us and they were extremely loud without any consideration to other diners. However, I will return because it was the clientele that upset us not the food or the service.

7/10We waited for a good few minutes to be seated while waiting staff stood around looking at us. Eventually a young woman approached us flustered then went off to find the hostess who seated us. Great ambience and a wonderful pianist playing. I had the Sunday roast beef, which was dry and over cooked as were all of the vegetables. The roast chicken and belly pork was nice apparently. My wife had the fish (a cod dish I think) which was also very dry.

10/10The first time I have been to Browns for a while and was very impressed with the range and quality of healthy choices. Well done Browns - we had an awesome lunch and the service was great too!

10/10Very lovely waiter and good food. Didn’t wait a long time for sour food and the restaurant was very warm, which is great with the cold weather . Great views onto the river!

5/10If you want a nice romantic meal don't go here. Service is indifferent. Food average. No ambiance . Wrong music. And staff not that bothered. Very noisy place and had the feel of a cheap chain about it. Like a poor man's Ivy

6.5/10Staff very good only required slight more attention during the meal ordered drinks at table and food but not wine I expected to do this when food arrived but were not given the opportunity but just a very minor point WE SHALL RETURN

10/10This was such amazing value. We had Steak and mussels for main and lemon posset and chocolate fondant for desert. The food was so tasty. The service friendly. And they catered for my gluten allergy very well. Will be returning soon .

10/10Staff are always lovely and the fish and chips are delicious. Great to sit outside by the river watching the sunset and the people passing by. Good House wine too.

8/10Lovely lunch by the river on a hot and sunny day. The set price lunch menu offered good choices and very good value. Hard to find an outside table with some shade since they had chosen lunchtime to jetwash the shady side. Not very good planning!

7/10Sunday lunch time very busy and quite noisy. We all had Sunday roast, beef sirloin and pork belly. Veg was a little hard, could have done with a little more gravy. Overall a nice dinner quite large portions Desserts were good.

8.5/10Lovely evening outside by the river. Food was delivered promptly and service was mostly excellent though our first waiter disappeared after a brief welcome and we struggled to get any attention for a while after. Once our order was placed the process ran smoothly. The staff were friendly and cheerful. Mushroom sourdough starter, Prawn and crab linguine and Blackened cod were all OK but not great. Chips were excellent. House white was very good.

10/10Loved the food. The menu has changed from the one advertised on the fork. Didn’t have the 3 course menu at all which we had booked which was a little disappointing. In saying the food we had was absolutely delicious.

10/10Extremely friendly and attentive service - table was prepared for us even though we were 45mins early (just finished the Kingston half marathon!) Good food, great selection of drinks and very accommodating staff. Many thanks!

10/10Great Food, and Service lovely location...! Excellent for Myself with Lactose and Wheat allergies as Browns is always so careful with details of what is available to eat, I am Local but keep returning with Friends and Family.

8.5/10A really great place with view of the river, food very good, service very good and it wasn't too noisy considering we were sat by an open door because the weather was good. I dont live in London but this is 4th time we have eaten here when meeting up with family and have never been dissappointed
