Went with the in laws on a Friday night before going to the Leeds Arena. The music made it hard to chat around the table. Everyone enjoyed the food. Lots of non alcoholic drink options.

Took my 80 year old Mum for lunch whilst Christmas shopping. Browns has an atmosphere and there was a few Christmas lunches happening. Service from Skye was fabulous despite her covering a couple of the larger parties as well as us. There was a slight issue with our food, but everyone was very professional and our mains were replaced swiftly with apologies. All through our lunch Skye looked after us excellently. Will definitely return.

Food was delicious, particularly the chorizo prawns. Very expensive for shepherd's pie, it was yummy though. Wine overpriced.

I gave the food quality a low score because it was not hot when it arrived and so my companion had almost finished their meal by the time I got my meal -not convinced it hadn't just been warmed up rather than a new dish - everything else was excellent

Ordered a pork dinner and a beef dinner. What came was lovely but then we saw other dinners being brought out with much more veg and other parts of the meal (stuffing and crackling off the pork dinner) were missing. Desserts: ordered the trio of which was nice but the cinnamon sponge was not a sponge - more like a cinnamon bun. Quite disappointing.

The food and restaurant was good but we were really disappointed when they brought our main course when we had just finished the starter, they had not even removed the first course plates, we like to have a gap between the courses, this spoiled the meal for us.

Be aware, I invited my friend for lunch and booked the lunch/ early evening menu but was informed on arrival it was a bank holiday and not available. I assume it was the maitre’d who told me there was no record on their system of my booking that menu. He said if I could find the confirmation he would see what could be arranged. I found this very embarrassing as I had made the invitation to my friend. I finally found the confirmation email and the menu was honoured. If booking on a bank holiday, be aware.

Expected more. Venue looks tired & unfortunately food wasn’t great. Mash was crusty round the edges & pretty certain it wasn’t fresh potato. Pie was mediocre at best. Service adequate but staff didn’t really care when told about the food. More & more places putting a service charge on the bill. Paid it today but was unjustifiable. As a restaurant owner, we always leave at least 20% when good but just the 10% if it’s added onto bill. Will not be rushing back

Although the venue was excellent, we were disappointed with the limited menu options and despite having beer on tap at the bar, they couldn't serve it to tables, some 10yds away. Service was good, but overall not what we expected.

The evening was enjoyable with very good service from Emily. I have one complaint , on arrival after a long day shopping at 5pm we asked if we could dine. The manageress at the desk asked if we had a booking which we replied no. She went on to say that the restaurant was fully booked all evening which we replied ok then we will just stay for a drink. Whilst waiting for my husband to get served I looked online and from 6.15pm onwards there were tables so I booked 6.15pm. At 5.30pm another manageress was in attendance and I said we had a table booked at 6.15pm but if one became available we were happy to eat earlier . She informed us we could have the table now if we wished.. That was 30mins after we had asked the first manageress who told us the restaurant was FULLY BOOKED all evening. Quite upset but very grateful of the second manageress .

I attended with 3 other people, feedback is the £11.95 2 course menu was excellent though :- 1. not enough toast / brioche was provided with the Pate 2. Gluten free menu was not included in the £11.95 menu offer - so MY meal cost £22.75 by comparison (not good value) as a person with an autoimmune disease I felt discriminated against :(

The meal was good and the service absolutely first rate. It was unfortunate from our point of view that there was a very large party dining at the same time, which with the nature of the room made the place rather noisy. The staff were apologetic about slow service, but really it wasn't anything of the sort!

A group of ladies went for a meal before an arena concert. The food was amazing the atmosphere great and it was quite reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive and we had a lovely time. The table was ours for as long as we wanted so didn’t feel rushed- overall a very pleasant dinning experience. One of our party was gluten free and she was catered for amazingly. She had an separate menu which was equally as good as the ordinary one if not better- a real treat for her as normally she really struggles to get different food which isn’t boring. All in all we would thoroughly recommend and will be returning at the next opportunity.
