7.5/10Excellent service but Afternoon Tea not quite as advertised - no sign of the lobster as it had been replaced by egg mayonnaise!! Disappointed and made the tea look a little cheap.

10/10I have eaten at this restaurant before and enjoyed everything about it so decided to go back and use my voucher for complimentary Champagne! The reviews were not so good but I have to say we still had an amazing time, service in particular from Stefan was second to none, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The sharing Camembert and Sea bass arrived in good time and was hot and tasty. We will return and can recommend.

9/10Great waiter (Alberto). Very good food. Disappointing that the restaurant was out of most steaks when we arrived but the steaks and other food we ordered was excellent.

9.5/10Very good food and really nice restaurant. However the menu and the orders were confused: the waiter and the cashier presented the dishes by first stating a price (£20) but put £35 on the bill. We discussed this but they agreed that they were wrong without however changing the bill. Pay close attention. The Fork discount was practically only apparent.

2/10I booked the 3-course set menu for three people using The Fork for a very special occasion and was very disappointed with service. While I was paying the waiter (a young boy with long hair) refused to include our discount on the set menu, making us loose around fifteen euros. He said that the restaurant did not have any promotion related to The Fork even after I proved to him that I have a booking code and showed him my booking confirmation. I was very humiliated and sad. Never again. If someone else is using the discount, be aware they might not accept it.

10/10On a weekend break in Oxford ‘The Fork’ came up trumps with this restaurant. We had a wonderful night. Cosmopolitan Cocktails were given when signing up for Browns newsletter which were a great way to start our meal with some nibbles from the tasty menu. Full gluten free menu too. The service was spot on, very attentive. Food presentation perfect and cooked to perfection. Excellent and will recommend.

4.5/10We ordered the 2 course set meal. The steak on the steak frites was tough despite the order being medium rare. The service was really poor. I had to ask for the dessert to be served twice, and to pay the bill twice. As we were in a rush to catch the train, I took the initiative to go to the payment counter to make payment, where the staff rudely remarked that I had no patience to wait for his colleague to pass me the bill. I paid by card, and when the receipt was being printed, he sarcastically asked if I could wait for the receipt to be printed. It totally spoiled my experience and I will not be coming back if I return to Oxford.
