8/10As usual Browns provided a lovely relaxing well serviced easy accessible venue for lunch Always used when in London. The one pour brown Guinness was not only new but a surprise which is not the usual standard for browns

10/10Went for a birthday meal today and we had a great time. Food was amazing, service was polite and efficient. Couldn't fault anything at all. Definitely coming back for more!

We arrived rather late as we were stuck in traffic but the staff were extremely welcoming. We were escorted to our table by Arthur who did a excellent job recommending the drinks. Our server was polite and friendly we wanted the lamb but they had run out. We were disappointed but the Chorizo with prawns followed by the Chateaubriand soon made up for it, as both were divine. My sister throughly enjoyed her birthday which was my main objective and I'll definitely dine there again.

6/10We were a party of 2 for lunch on a Sunday. The person serving us was super friendly when they were around, they just weren't around often enough. Out food was served; I had the fish & chips and my friend had the shepherds' pie. Both were a bit bland tasting. I wanted mayonnaise with my chips but no one was around to ask. Only when we both finished eating, did someone come around which by then, was too late.

7/10The restaurant is really clean and the environment is comfortable and relaxing. The waiters were kind. Not too much waiting for the dish. We took English breakfast (but pay attention it is available till 12 am).

6/10Situated in a historic and beautiful building, this restaurant promised to be a good old fashioned brasserie, including even a fixed price menu ( lunch and early evening) to challenge London’s inflated prices. And the service was warm and helpful. The food started well with a smooth and tasty duck pate. But the main course steak was tough and tasteless, and the accompanying tomato salad also tasteless. (It’s true that it’s hard to buy tomatoes in london that taste anything other than watery slush. Maybe brexit has made it harder to shop for good quality French). The glasses of wine we had ( one white one red) were not of the quality you’d expect. All in all we were disappointed.

4.5/10Unfortunately this has let me down. Despite seeing all the good views online which is what made us visit. It was not what we expected. I made special request for my pregnant wife as it was her birthday. Apart from finding comfortable seating, the rest was ignored by the staff. Apart from that the service wasn’t a problem. The starters - Squid was quite delightful, but everything from there was downhill. I was recommended the cod which was extremely salty it had to be returned. Then they recommended the chicken specialty which was evidently re microwaved, especially as it came out in 2 mins swimming in gravy to cover the dryness. The stuffing was tough. The potato’s seemed to be a day old. When the waiter asked and I told him he assured me it was fresh. I insisted and he insisted back, I did not come to argue which was what it may have been so left without complaint and paid for the meal. Browns, I will not be returning and I did not enjoy my time.

10/10This is beautiful restaurant in Canary Wharf and the set menus make eating there not overly expensive. We tend to go there for birthday celebrations and we always have such a lovely time - the surroundings area also adds to the lovely feel of the place and the photos always look great as well. It always look like we are eating at a far more expensive restaurant because of how the good the food looks on the plates. The food is also delicious as well!

10/10I eat at Browns on a Sunday quite a bit and love their roasts and you get plenty, the roast chicken is a favourite and their fish and chips is very good too to be honest all the food served looks very good

10/10Beautiful ambience with excellent service. One of their staff Monica, was amazing and extremely helpful!! We loved all the attention and special treatment by all the staff. Food was just as good. Will go back soon again.

10/10We were a party of 3 people, we all loved the food. Each one of us got starters, main, extra side and desert and we also got a bottle of wine. Bill was about 50 per person which is a very reasonable price for a 3 course meal with extra side and a bottle of wine. We all loved our food. Portions were very good. I would recommend this place.

9/10We arrived an hour early and the place was slammed. Maitre d' was very positive, "can do" attitude and found us a great table within 15 minutes. Waiter was very engaging. Food was very god.

9.5/10Very good menu with a wide choice of dishes that I would like to try. I chose the fillet steak and scallops which was superb. Friends had chicken and steaks which they really liked too. The waitress was very friendly & helpful and provided great service throughout our meal. We would definitely visit this restaurant again when in the area.

4.5/10This was the first time I had visited a Browns seeings I’ve worked for Mitchell and butler for 7 years. I’m an assistant manager for a high street brand O’Neill’s and I thought browns was more of a classier service than an high street which I was disappointed to find it wasn’t. First I would like to say the welcoming was nice and the manager or assistant was very professional smart and took us to our table. The waiter that came and served us was cocky took our order drinks starters and mains with out writing it down. I even said to him you must have a good memory I hope you don’t forget anything!! Whilst we were waiting for our drinks I asked if we could move tables has it was empty and the table we were sitting on was right in front of the bar. The waiter said yeh wait a min !! But the manager came along once again professional and polite said we could go and chose any table we feel comfortable to. Then we were served our food buy a waitress and the food was wrong I asked for fish and chips and I received a fish pie my partner asked for chunky chips and received skinny chips so all the food went back and we had to wait for what we order to arrive!! Obviously the cocky waiter got it wrong so much for he’s memory!!! The food finally came and was nice nothing special and the waitress was polite. Wouldn’t go back there again very disappointed Miller and Carter for the company have much better staff and table service I’ll stick with them in future!!

Very good food. We ordered the ribeye steak and sirloin steak, both were good but I recommend the sirloin more which is more tender. Waitress was very nice and accomodating, and the ambience is fantastic. Definitely recommend and will return!

7.5/10We have eaten here since it opened, extremely busy which was good as it was a great atmosphere. However despite have booked through the Fork app, subsequently received both confirmation from restaurant and app, I had also confirmed reservation on Friday with Browns, but upon arrival staff said had no record of either booking or call! Luckily we we provided a table…..not sure what the issue was!

8/10The atmosphere of the restaurant and the food were fantastic and I cannot fault it. What was disappointing though, was that there was not enough staff on duty to be able to provide great service. The waiters were very very busy and we waited for ages to get served, waited for ages to get our bill, waited for ages to get the machine to make payment which really spoilt the evening.
