Hainanese chicken rice tasted good but difficult to eat. Laksa was good, nothing amazing. Hokkien mee was just full of sauce. Quite pricey for the location.

A hidden gem nestled away from the bustling Kensington high street. Very good portion sizes with heaps of meat and food is comfort with an unbelievable taste and authenticity. Highly recommended for date night/family/friend catch-up / foodie / solo eating away from the crowds and very affordable - definitely visiting this again.

Quiet and pleasant setting in Copthorne Tara Hotel. Close to buses and trains. Big mix-up about discounts which, despite finding them marked as available when I booked, turned out not to be applicable. However, food was reasonably priced and dim sum are excellent. All three of us enjoyed what we ordered and will certainly go there again. Not much atmosphere but we wanted to talk so it didn't worry us.

Unknown to us .. it was a small franchise restaurant off the corridor within a hotel foyer.. 2 staff serving a few tables. Very slow service and only 3 available wines across rose & white wines from the list, all very odd . Food however was great & with The Fork discount it was great value.

The 50% fork discount made it palatable. Else I would rather get Iceland Chinese deals which are cheaper and better quality! Maybe they get their food from some cheap supermarket! Dumplings- extremely thick tasteless pastries. Crispy duck- so crispy you need a chisel to break it apart. Hoisin sauce like tar and Tasteless. Sweet chilli sauce clumpy. Spring rolls thick pastry and tasteless. Service- two waiters in the whole restaurant! Not their fault the service was slow! Maybe hire a third person to help.

The waitress who greeted us unfortunately could barely speak English. The table we were shown to had dirty, stained chairs, so we asked for another table which was provided. We asked for tap water to start with and received two glasses of warm water. First time I’ve ever had warm tap water served to me! We tried asking the waitress what she recommended for vegetarians. She had no clue and we ended up making our choices. Following this we were made to wait half an hour, and were asked again what our order was, clearly they had forgotten or had not bothered to order the food! Food itself was bland and portions were tiny. We left without finishing our meal as the service and food was appalling.

This is the first time I visit a restaurant through Fork and they don’t accept my discount request. I had to pay £80 for food that was also very average. I am so disappointed and upset.

Will not come back. Great, quiet atmosphere. Too business formal set up but understandable given its in hotel Very average Laksa. Had 2 Hainanese chicken rice, ordered at different times. The first one was average, 2nd one was horrible - chicken was overcooked, The soup was very bland compared to first one ( feels like someone just added a lot of water to it). The salt and pepper squid was rubber-y. The squid itself taste of nth. Overall terrible experience with food quality, had high expectations given the price and located in hotel. The only thing I will re order is the rice for hainanese chicken....

Nothing was wrong with the fork, the restaurant or the friendly and caring staff, but was a table close by with a noisy kid that made complicate to have a conversation and we left without have the dinner

Service was very slow but I cannot blame the understaffed team of two who were trying to handle a lot. Food was served lukewarm and very late, we did not risk complaining as we would have probably had to wait yet another 30 minutes to get anything. Staff did not know what sauces to give for dishes and we had to repeatedly ask (for example missing Hoisin sauce for the duck, a basic thing in Chinese cuisine).

Service was a little slow and clumsy but still polite and they were trying their best. The food was hit and miss, not quite authentic but nearly. The worst dish was the assam fish as it was nothing near what the original dish is meant to be, and was served like a generic sweet and sour fish. Hainan chicken was OK, would've preferred something other than the breast meat alone. Penang char kway teow hit the spot, as did the laksa (brilliant!) overall bill for 4 including 4 Desserts was £61, after a 50% discount.
