Fabulous
Eclectic mix of food on the menu but everything was fairly tasty (quite fast foody though), service was quick but the ambience was strange. Went on a Tuesday evening for a well needed catch up with friends and there was incredibly loud dance music playing, like being in a club. Very strange. If you’re worried about covid then I would also be wary as the definition of outdoors is very loose.
My friends and I are rather disappointed for the value of money for food received. The buns are tiny and heavily priced at almost £7 each. I was astonished to hear this but also to then find out you are suppose to buy more than one. I think this to be set clearer on their website/menu. The service was good and the restaurant is nice. But there is a very small selection of foods to pick from and being a vegetarian myself only one bun was veggie. To me it was a really simple mushroom bun with some mayonnaise in it. Overall not going to go again.
Wonderful waiter, seriously overloaded with work. He didn't manage our table well because he was overloaded. We loved the food. The wine list was terribly limited. Wish they could extend it. Get everything and enjoy it
The restaurant has a good ambiance and good music recommended by a friend a great little find. Inside outside restaurant very unique. Would come again most definitely.
Such a nice place especially during this pandemic...we can meet and greet a few within restrictions as it’s outdoor but it’s so well heated to chill in there with some food and drinks.
Good food but pretty pricey.
The staff at Buns & Buns where really accommodating and attentive, and the atmosphere and our table were great. Sadly I thought the food was incredibly overpriced for what you got. £24 for a small, half filled lobster roll, £8 for a general bun, which came looking very sad for itself, and £6.50 for a serving of tzsiki with a lump of bread. And a glass of mulled wine for £10!! When just outside you could get a lovely glass for £5. It was sad because the restaurant itself was fun and a great location.
Overpriced and below average food
The food was amazing. Very good service. The drinks could of came faster was taking a bit long Other then that it was good Would definitely go back again .
The chef was amazing the only bad thing I can say is it’s more off an summer restaurant because it’s outside. But perfect staff and perfect food 10/10 smart causal vibe.
During Covid times it is difficult to find a decent place to cater for having six friends sharing a dinner while following government guidelines. Buns &buns helped us do just that. Excellent venue, excellent service, good food
This restaurant has the advantage of being classed as outdoors which means we could gather as four friends from different households. The food was excellent, if somewhat expensive (nearly £7 for a bao bun, £17 for a steak sandwich) and the cocktails and draft beer are good. My only disappointment was the loud music, which is not appropriate in COVID times as we found ourselves talking louder than usual to be heard.
Amazing food. Really tasty, good choice of delicious cocktails also.
Love this place! Service was fab and food was really yummy! Loved the playlist and the ambience. Temperature was just right when meeting friends outside! Would 100% go again.
Food was delicious, especially the BurgerBun! Staff were friendly and service was brilliant. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Covent Garden.
Food portions were smaller than kids sized but double the price. Music was exceptionally loud, can’t hear people talking who are sitting directly next to me. Didn’t feel safe re: covid. Service took ages, food came before drinks. Overall wouldn’t come back.
It was nice, food was a weird mix of cuisines, but I did think it was really good quality and everything we had was tasty. A fair bit overpriced, but that’s Covent Garden.
The atmosphere here was really nice. We were, however, disappointed by the quality of food given the price. Most of our food as cold and overpriced.
Great location for the new Tier 2 rules and perfect for feeding children. Mixed menu but the food was very good. Our waiter was excellent and service was prompt.
Excellent food and atmosphere!
