10/10We really enjoyed our “festive” Sunday dinner , cooked with fresh seasonal vegetables and quality meats and all served professionally with a smiling friendly faces. The ambience was very relaxed which we enjoyed giving us time to catchup with friends. It’s nice to dine out and enjoy it, and would recommend the” Burgundy Restaurant” for Sunday lunch with friends.

9/10Food much better than I was expecting. Trip Advisor rating is only 3.5 but the meals were all well cooked and tasty. We ate in the hotel for convenience and because the other places nearby were all chains.

10/10The Sunday lunch was excellent. Very attentive and friendly staff. Nice to have silver dinner service .Nothing was too much trouble. Well done all at Burgundy Restaurant. Our preferred choice for Sunday lunch for as many years as I can remember.

6/10The food quality doesn’t match the price. The food flavours were very mediocre. Presentation was ok but it was very big standard food but for an expensive price. Not much choice either. Staff were lovely and friendly but chose not to eat there again. The decor is a bit old and shabby.

8/10the restaurant was well placed near the NEC the food was tasty and not too expensive, as with all venues the cost of the wine encourages me not to drink it!! a bottle that costs £8 in the shops retailing for £24 in a restaurant has always been a sore point for me!!

Sometimes when you stay at hotels, the food can be a little disappointing and a bit of an afterthought. The food however at The Burgundy was first class and very pleasant surprise. I will definitely be looking forward to dining here more during my stay

10/10We were a little late due to circumstances beyond our control but that was not a problem. The staff were really understanding and made us feel at ease, The staff are very welcoming, the choice of dishes is good and of high quality. It is a relaxed atmosphere and no one is trying to rush you out of the restaurant. Have been here numerous times and would definitely recommend it.

4.5/10A disappointing meal. Frozen chips & onion rings and not sure how you get part soggy part crispy batter on the fish. Cod was grey, not beautiful white fish I was expecting! Cheap white bread & butter… not very exciting!! Husband had steak & two pats of butter for the steak cost £3.50, a bit over-priced. Ordered coffee which was more like hot dark water… it took 3 members of staff to discuss it when I asked for a fresh cup only to be told it’s nicer to have Nescafé rather than the machine! I finally got another one but still unpleasant! £75 was a lot to pay - very disappointing!!

10/10We have been having Sunday lunch there on an almost monthly basis for the last few years and it is always excellent. The staff are attentive, courteous and very professional whilst being friendly. It is getting busier so we are patient and take the time to enjoy the atmosphere and friends company. We would highly recommend the Sunday lunch if you like old fashioned service and good food.

7.5/10We absolutely love this restaurant the food and the staff are great but when we dined yesterday I feel there has been a subtle change. We have Sunday lunch here on a regular basis we bring friends and family along and celebrate birthdays etc and I would always say the food and staff were exemplary. The price has gone up but we felt yesterday the portions were smaller, the service was slower, food not quite as hot as it is usually is and the sweet trolley disappointing, cold options were individual tarts/desserts only. I fully appreciate the difficult times we live in and there are staff shortages and rising prices but this restaurant is in a very unique position it has no competition and all local people love it. I would hate for this to change as it has been here for years there are noisy pubs and noisy carvery restaurants fairly close by but this is quite a unique place now, nice peaceful restaurant, proper service by lovely staff. If customers don't feel they are getting great value for money, good service and food they will unfortunately go elsewhere as things are tight for customers too. The restaurant and bar area was noticeably quieter than usual and we put it down to Easter being only last week, but we have have been away on holiday for the last two months so haven't been in a while, we really hope it was quieter due to Easter the weekend before and not customer's moving away from this restaurant. We will continue to support this restaurant but hope against hope that it doesn't make too many cutbacks that it forces us to go elsewhere that would be very sad and disappointing for us.

10/10Nathan and Becky were fantastic staff. They were so friendly and welcoming, especially to my grandparents who are in their 90's. The food was lovely and there was lots of choice on the menu.

10/10This restaurant is a great little find, the staff are lovely, very friendly and very welcoming, it’s true value for money, 3 course Sunday roast for £25 including tea/coffee as well, its truly out of this world, I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough, fabulous atmosphere and generally a lovely place.

5/10Visited every Mother’s Day for 5 years. Today less busy but the food was cold, vegetables had emptied so a new platter was coming but didn’t! The lamb dinners were very cold, returned with a new meal brought after other meals eaten.

9.5/10My only complaint is about the other diners. It seems that it is perfectly acceptable to allow your children to run around as long as they don’t disturb you. Possibly the restruant should consider an adult only section. Food, staff, service all excellent.

6/10Comparing this to the food we had here at our wedding reception in 2009, the food wasn't as good. We had gammon and chips for Valentine's Day, the gammons were a bit underdone, as a result were a tad greasy, the chips were fries and not proper chips, the food on the plate seemed to be served on top of each other also. Starter soup was however top notch, chocolate brownie pudding was also nice and healthy portion of Eaton mess was good, Sunday lunches might be better but perhaps a little overpriced for what we had for the mains.

6.5/10We have been many times for Sunday lunch and always had a lovely meal. Today the starter and main meals seemed smaller than normal with only one roast potato for the four roast dinners ordered. All of the courses were on the cool side including the warm desert which was served with custard. We will come again in the hope that all services will resume.

8.5/10It was very busy and although the food all arrived promptly and was great, we were a bit disappointed that there wasn’t some Christmas pudding, just Christmas pudding cheesecake. Also we had to ask for the tea and coffee and after waiting for over half an hour it never arrived and we left without it. Very unusual for the Arden.
