6/10Fairly average place in a decent location. Service polite, food was ok, but you can get a better value for money (quality of food and overall experience) elsewhere

7/10The food was okay. The restaurant mistakenly charged the pork chop for £2 more. The price of the pork chop on the menu was £26 but they charged us £28 on the bill. Unfortunately, I didn’t check the price on the bill until I got home. So, remember to check the bill in details if you go to this restaurant!

6/10Arrived at the restaurant it was a lovely warm night asked if we could sit outside there were tables available and was told that the tables were for drinks only. We then saw people being served food on outside tables !!! To be fair we were given a nice table by open doors but wondered what the confusion was and it started the night off quite badly, it seemed like the serving staff didn’t really know what was going on. Food was fairly good but not as good as we have had on past visits all in all a bit disappointing.

2.5/10Meat very under cooked. Chewy and stringy. Very rushed service. It was like sitting in a school classroom on wooden seats.

8.5/10Excellent food and a decent bottle of wine but the former is overpriced and the waiters weren’t as attentive as you might expect from an expensive establishment.

10/10My husband and I are staying close by and were so pleased to find this chop house! Fine attention to detail, great drinks selection, and the food was amazing. The servers were attentive and helpful with selections. We will definitely be back!

4/10Prices are outrageous. Seeing the food on the plate is disappointing when you pay £30+ for one main meal and it just comes in a small portion then taste wise it just taste as bland as ever. Seems like the reasoning behind the prices is the location other than that the food was below average . Even the kids menu is £10 yet the kids only get 3 strips of chicken and a portion of chips , that’s horrendous

6.5/10The food was nice and our waitress was charming but there could have been more veg with the roast. Also noe of the staff were terribly efficient or knowledgable when asked even basic questions about the food. The Eton mess had three tiny bits of meringue in a sea of cream blended with strawberries - not unpleasant but definitely not an Eton mess. Overall, the experience at the Hawksmoor is much better and equable on price.

10/10I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Butlers Wharf Chop House in London, and it was an exceptional experience. Nestled along the scenic Thames, the restaurant offers stunning views of Tower Bridge, creating a perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. The ambiance is a harmonious blend of classic British charm and contemporary elegance. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff who made me feel truly welcome. Their service throughout the meal was impeccable, striking the right balance between professionalism and warmth. The lunch menu is a delightful celebration of British cuisine, offering a variety of expertly prepared dishes that cater to diverse tastes. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite, showcasing the chef’s commitment to excellence. The overall dining experience was enhanced by the stunning views of the Thames and Tower Bridge, adding a unique and picturesque element to the meal. Butlers Wharf Chop House exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy fine British dining in an unbeatable location, especially for a delightful lunch.

8.5/10The food is great. Delicious and worth the money. However, serving time was so late it took them 50 minutes to serve 1 tomahawk, 1 burger and 1 ribeye. We sat at 12, the food arrived at 12:50. If you will open at 12, you better serve the food at least around 12:30.

5.5/10Great view of London City, attentive and friendly service, sadly overpriced, poor quality food resulted in disappointing experience. Ordered pork chop x 2, spinach, fries, 0.5l white wine, paid £98 for, 2 people, which I would be ok with, but instead of what we hoped for would be nice chunky juicy fresh pork chops on a bone, the restaurant served smoked over salted hog slices; glad we ordered chips and spinach sides, because we would be going away hungry. Will not be going back.

8/10Food was excellent. Service and drinks left something to be desired. I asked for a martini with a gin listed in their menu, waiter said he didn’t think they carried and said he’d never heard of it. They have a whole page dedicated to martinis, saying they make them any way requested yet don’t carry olives for martinis. Waited 20 minutes for drinks.

7/10It is a nice place to spend our Friday night after work right next to London Bridge. Appreciated all friendly staffs and vibes, however we ordered two medium raw steaks but both are 70% above for us. Sorry about that.

9/10The view is exquisite from the outdoor dining area. You can see the Tower Bridge and Thames River while you enjoy your meal. During dinner it is a thorough fare for runners so you have the constant jogger passing by. Not quite awesome for an intimate dinner but nonetheless we enjoyed ourselves. The food was excellent! Service tended to be a little slow when we needed to get the check but other than that very attentive!

5/10I have never experienced such disgusting behaviour by a waiter, as soon as he came over to our table, you could see he didn't want to server us, his attitude and body language was awful. I had to ask for another waiter. He clearly wasn't happy about it because he came over to the table, I thought here we go! Thank goodness the other waiter was lovely and intervened. This was my second visit and I will not be going back. The food was disappointing, the steak was nice but the lamb chop had a lot of bone. Such a shame the food and service was lovely the first time I visited.

9/10Good food, attentive service. Only complaint was that there was no hot veg sides to choose from other than spinach. Since all the pies came on a bed of spinach (but no other veg or other sides included) double spinach wasn't really an option. So we opted for the tomato and onion salad, but would have preferred a hot veg option like broccoli, peas, carrots or similar.

10/10We booked well in advance and our request for an outside table was honoured. The service from both food and wine waiters was exceptional. All evening, our Australian guests were in awe of the spectacular setting.

2.5/10The food was very disappointing. I had the liver; the jus that came with it was salty, bitter and very unpleasant. It was also served with another guest’s chicken. Her order was forgotten and served late. Others food was dry and not very tasty. The service was slow and it was too noisy to have a pleasant evening. Very disappointing as I’ve really enjoyed The Chop House in the past many times

7/10the chocolate and wine gift for my birtday was great and appreciated. My soup and my wife'sprawn dish were good but a bit sparce for the price.AS your steaks are over expensive I ordered the beef and ale pudding.the taste was excellent but the pudding pastry was a bit tough in places. Why were there no green vegetables other than the mashed spinach under the pie .At home I would always have 4 or 5 vegetables with a dish like that. This detracts from the English nature of your restaurant

9.5/10Service was a little fast, but very attentive. Had requested a nice table and was given one with a view of the Thames which was nice. The Sunday Roast was very good and had lots of flavor. We look forward to going back again.

8.5/10We have been here many times and it is always excellent, something our guests really appreciated. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The food by and large was wonderful but I was disappointed with my roast potatoes which were hard and dry. Otherwise I look forward to the next time.

6.5/10As the weather is now colder all the doors were closed but it was hard to find the Entrance door to the restaurant - it gave the appearance of being closed from the river! Apart from a private party there were hardly any diners there and it really lacked atmosphere. I have been to the Chop House many times over the years and as I used to work in the area I have booked this restaurant for many people. I was a bit disappointed to be honest! The food was very average! The staff were pleasant and helpful.
