Fabulous
Restaurant was busy but tables were so close together that plates were being passed over my head, my chair was constantly being knocked and staff were having conversations over diners.
The food was very good, service fine. Just a small detail but the menu did not state that the special offers were only available for lunch. Wine was rather expensive. but due to the location not surprising.
4 of us dined here for a pre-concert meal, and everything was brilliant. Friendly staff, lovely food and speedy service. Every table was full and yet the staff still made time to be friendly without feeling rushed. Will definitely come back here again!
Great service, friendly and helpful staff, lovely steak. We were seated near the door and unfortunately did feel cold whereas further in the restaurant stayed warm.
Unfortunately the food service was very slow, waiting nearly 45 mins for a child’s starter and then being told we had already had it, which we hadn’t. Also, a french onion soup starter took nearly 30mins and the children’s ice cream 20 mins. The waiting staff were very polite in there manner.
Food was ok, service was terrible.
Service not great. Food was cold. Tasted like a ready meal that had been heated up in a microwave.
Unfortunately we had to send our food back as it was cold. It was extremely busy as there was a concert on at the 02 but apart from that food was good.
They were short staffed so waiting time just for drinks order was 30 minutes and then the food for one of us was not what stated on menu chicken club sandwich, crispy pancetta but it was not crispy didn't look like it had been cooked and there was no spinach or mayo as stated on menu.
Awful service.Food was cold and dry as a bone.Couldnt wait to leave
We came to cafe rouge before we went into the 02 to see Cher on Sunday, I appreciate that on show nights the restaurants get very busy however these restaurants should be able to cope with the levels of service on these nights ( surely they have felt with this a fair few years now) anyway it took us ages to order our drinks and food when our drinks came they were held empty and we never received the Prosecco shot with the mango martini. Our starters came out in about 4 minutes after ordering questioning how fresh this food was! We when received our mains where the steaks were middles you meaning the rate steak was given to the person who ordered the well done, this is usually find however the sauce had already been poured on the wrong one, my sister then did not eat her steak as it was extremely poor quality and tough! We tried to tell someone however the staff only seemed to want to chat at the bar rather than look after the customers. Also the lady next to us ordered a salmon and received lamb and never apologised! I would never usually write a complaint however I felt the this should be addressed as we were out for a lovely evening to enjoy a show (a show we paid a lot of money to see) and the build up to this was ruined by the poor food and terrible service! I think the 02 need to look into the quality of there restaurants around the stadium! Also we were unable to use our meerkat movies on show nights which I ridiculous
Good menu good service polite staff would be happy to eat there again
The only good feature about this restaurant was its proximity to the venue i was visiting. The greating was luke warm, the booth in which i sat had staining on the upholstry. Orders were taken and drinks arrived. All as expected. Food arrived, incorrect side order, portions smaller than expected and food was not hot. Would only use this restaurant out of necessity not choice.
