overall, this was really good, but my only issue was that £20 for a bowl of penne pasta with chicken felt a bit pricey especially since the pasta wasnt made in-house

I really wanted to like the food as the staff were friendly and other reviews were high. Maybe a bad sitting but my main was overcooked and partners main was so salty she couldn’t finish it. Very family friendly place though.

As always it’s a pleasure to dine at capricho , the food is perfectly cooked with all the flavours from Portugal , staff is always very helpful and make u feel welcome creating a very good ambience for the dinners

This is the best restaurant in this area definitely! The food is always great, fresh and delicious, the service is very good as well. I think we have tried preaty much everything there and wouldn't say there was something I didn't like but my favourite are Fish mix grill and steak on stone.

As always the main course food was delicious and well presented. However when selecting a dessert from the wide range on offer is difficult for me. This is because I am a diabetic and cannot have what’s on offer. I would settle for a fruit salad to complete my meal, perhaps this could be considered as an alternative.

We pride ourselves trying to make every client happy and adjust our menu to their diey needs. Very busy restaurant . Not enough staff . Staff running around and saying “one second” when you’re just trying to get attention for your first drink whilst looking at menu . Have to try and get staffs attention all the time .. nobody coming to table to take your order .. makes a bad atmosphere and makes customers feel uncomfortable . Staff serving tables are also pouring drinks behind bar .. really need somebody behind bar serving drinks .. staff are good but have not enough time to look after customers .. all the staff are running around like crazy . Had to call a member of staff for a drink , to place our food order and for everything as they literally were not available for table service .. too busy literally running around . I do not blame the staff but the management as they obviously do not know how to provide customer service . Also entrance door to restaurant locked and you have to knock to get in .. and ask to get out .. security and fire hazard ? But must sayfood rxceptional

Our anniversary (49th) - meal was lovely, service and atmosphere was really good. The half bottle of white wine we had was lovely. The bottle of Red I ordered at £39 wasn’t available so I went for the next similar which was listed as a 2019 (14%) at £41 - more than I would usually want to pay. However the bottle served wasn’t the same year (2022 I think) and was 13% but still the same price at £41 🤔

I had dinner for the first time. Loved the food , drinks and ambiance. Also was served by Sonia who was really lovely . They have multiple choice for food and drinks . Highly recommended if you want to try Portuguese food !

The staff is very friendly and make sure of the customer's well-being. The restaurant is very cosy, the selection of the music, the atmosphere is extremely pleasant. The food is what surprised us the most, from the starters to the dessert. The wines, white, green, red and Porto wines are also the highlight. 10/10, excellent restaurant, our favourite 💯

The best restaurant in the area. Great for family meals, celebrations, couples, singles. The staff are always welcoming and accommodating. The food is of a consistently high standard, keeping to traditional Portuguese recipes that transport you back to your Portugal holidays or home. Each dish is superb. Try them all

I celebrated with my son as he will be leaving the UK to work abroad. The service was excellent and the food good. Thank you for such a warm welcome. The waiter had congratulated my son upon arrival which was lovely and added to the personal touch. Thank you again for such a lovely and memorable evening.

Went to Capricho before covid, came back now and nothing has changed. Lovely home cooked food, contemporary dining and great service. Had the lamb cutlets (medium rare) and disk potato’s and partner had filet steak (medium rare) with sweet potato and creamed spinach 🙏❤️ to die for! Olives, octopus (so soft and tender) and whisky prawns (creamy and indulgent). 2 sangrias tinto large and 2 Super Bok pints. Really couldn’t recommend enough, extremely satisfied.
