We were seated, given menus and our order taken , all very promptly; wine was served almost immediately, but no water. In order to ask again for the water, to order a second course, and to ask for the bill it was necessary for one of us to walk around the ( virtually empty ) restaurant looking for someone whose attention we could eventually attract on each occasion. It was disappointing that the restaurant had no cheese !

The team working there is amazing. Doing good interactions with us and majority of the times they were paying attention to the table (I say majority of the times because in few moments we were trying to call one of them to ask for something and nobody was looking to us in case we needed help, when we were the only table in the restaurant) The food wasn’t bad, but very small portions. We were a group of 9 people ordering different things and we all agreed that they could have being a bit bigger.

I have always loved Carluccio's in Brunswick Sq. For my birthday I was elated to find this. However the food was mediocre and the service sullen. it was dark and like a hotel lobby. Too dark to read the slip and learn I had not received the 20% off
