6/10I have usually had a good meal here but not this time. The choice of soft drinks was very limited. I ordered lasagne but that was unavailable. I then chose the carbonara but it was so dry and tasteless that I only managed half of it. The cost was then refunded so the restaurant was aware that it wasn’t good.

7/10The food was good as was the table service. I was however disappointed that when I checked my bill I had been overcharged. When I raised this it was dealt with somewhat grudgingly with barely an apology. I don’t think that was good customer service.

9.5/10The waitress was extremely good. Attentive, easy to relate too, nothing was too much trouble. Nice choice of menu and good service. Food very enjoyable and tasty.

7/10A regular venue , quite busy today so slow / random service. No thought that we might need serviettes & cutlery so got it myself from another table which wasn’t being used.

9/10My friend and I have eaten here 3 times in the last couple of months, drawn back by the 'buy one get one free main course' offer. Each time the staff have been excellent, friendly, helpful and we have thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

3/10The risotto with "seafood" was terrible. Gritty- assumed the mussels were not cleaned properly, overcooked squid and less than average prawns. Service was slow, and no coffee available ( that was explained after we sat down) The focaccia and other breads were cold , tasteless, and dry. Did not seem fresh. Of course a restaurant will have food smells, however smelt very strongly of old/ off cheese! Will not be visiting again anytime soon.

7/10The special Fork menu was very good value. The food arrived really really quickly but was nothing to write home about. The actual restaurant was cold. Maybe they didn’t want us to hang around? Wouldn’t bother going back.

6/10The restaurant was busy but the staff remained pleasant and attentive. Despite that, the ambiance was less than conducive to a relaxing lunch. One table insisted on making themselves heard by continuous loud conversation and laughter. Yes, people are entitled to be happy but not at the expense of other diners. My Bruschetta was not up to standard being a small slice toasted bread with a pile of various tomatoes unceremoniously dumped on top with hardly any topping. The Veganesca Spaghetti and my partner's Sea Bass were better but presentation remained an issue. I think the Gunwharf Portsmouth restaurant has the edge in comparison with West Quay, Southampton.

7.5/10Was looking forward to eating at Carluccio's but sadly the set menu advertised on the website wasn't available, and had been replaced with an Easter Special which actually worked out more expensive for two courses than just buying the same from the a la carte menu. The food was adequate, but when I ordered the sweet the bread pudding wasn't available, my second choice the limoncello tart also wasn't available. To be honest, when I discovered the set menu wasn't available I was tempted to leave, but as the only choice would have been the stupidly busy food court I decided to stay. Actually, now I wish I had just gone home. The service was good though,, so no complaint there.

9.5/10We really enjoyed the food but they were not well informed about The Fork menu. Were told at first we couldn't have the set menu until I showed them on my phone. I think you need to keep these larger chains more up to date.

6/10It was freezing cold. There was an awful draft coming from the ceiling. We were moved to another section which was not so cold. The food was OK but nothing special.

10/10We’ve been to Carluccios Southampton lots of times and we’ll keep coming back. Good food, Good service. Enough said. You should try it. You won’t be disappointed.

8.5/10Charming young man welcomed us He must do this hundreds of times a week but made us feel he was interested in us. Likewise charming personable waitress who served us. Food was very good - steak cd have been less cooked but I hadn’t given any preference when ordering. Lovely lunch all round.

5.5/10The service was ok, but they where missing 50% of the food we wanted to order, including starters, mains and deserts and the pasta was SO salty I couldn’t finish it. Very distasteful it was a girls day out meal with my mum and sister, who never gets time out from her 3 children.

7/10Have been hear a few times but was disappointed as it was my daughters birthday today , she ordered mushroom risotto and asked for chicken as well when it turned up there was no chicken , waitress was very good and brought back chicken 5 min later , disappointing
