10/10Great service, the food was good our only comment would be that we felt a bit rushed to order. Our table for 4 was booked for 7-30 but when I booked I wasn’t informed that the last order was8-0pm which is a new arrangement. We were with friends whom we hadn’t seen for some time and so we were chatting and catching up. The food was good and the waiter was excellent and didn’t rush us once we had ordered . So all in all a pleasant evening .

8/10Fantastic service as always, but since the beginning of August the menu has suddenly shrunk so far as to now be quite limited. The best dish Tuna Abbruzese salad has been discontinued -- this is a great shame since it was fantastically tasty and simply sublime. This change now leaves no salads on the menu at all except side salads -- this is extremely disappointing in the middle of the summer holidays -- while leaving now very few choices lim for pescatarians like me. The other option of Sea Bass is now £19.50, which is very pricy and certainly much more than it was recently. Peroni Zero is also no longer available, with Lucky Saint as an alternative -- this is fine but it is more of a pale ale and lacks the Italian vibe that we go to Carluccio's to enjoy. The staff and service in Stratford-upon-Avon are all still fantastic and very welcoming -- it's a real pity about the now very much weaker food offering though.

5/10Visited for pre-théâtre meal. Service was very good but the food was pretty awful. We both ordered the small portion of calamari to start - the portion was very generous but bland - not enough seasoning and slightly tough. Main courses were mushroom risotto - more like rice pudding, and spinach &ricotta ravioli - sparsely filled parcels sitting in a tasteless & gloopy stock. Used to enjoy Carluccio’s but this was pretty awful.

8/10Good cheerful welcome, lovely Monica looked after our big table. Restaurant busy and all staff worked hard a super visit for us. Our children emptied their plates and had room for a sweet. We will be back.

9.5/10It was such a lovely experience, there wasn’t a lot of people in the restaurant, but wee we’re being quiet loud so I guess that was a good thing!!! Lovely waitress called Emma!

10/10Fantastic service and great food from wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. The Tuna Abruzzese salad is the best insalata this side of Pescara.

4.5/10I recalled Carluccio's as providing reliable, freshly cooked Italian food. this visit did not measure up. The focaccia with mozzarella snack starter did not taste fresh, nor was it properly warmed through. We waited 40 minutes for our main course despite the restaurant not appearing to be full. Atmosphere was not great, too warm inside, and noisy with unnecessarily loud background music. Our waitress was lovely!

8.5/10We enjoyed our pre theatre lunch and valued our waitresses who gave us good advice on choices as time was short ( our fault). Salads were fresh and well flavoured and served promptly. However, I was stunned to find my wine, Sauvignon Blanc, cost £12.95 for a single glass ( while all other glasses of white wine were £9.95 - which we thought was hefty, in our haste I hadn’t spotted that my choice cost even more) Very disappointed in these prices and would certainly think twice before ordering wine again.
