10/10Felt really welcomed. The service was great and specials were shared without asking. The food we ordered was so delicious and beautifully presented. Was surprised with a little chocolate cake and song for my birthday, really made my day

6/10We have been several times but for some reason this time round it was not as good as previously. The Parma Ham looks like it's from the supermarket. Not so keen this time round on the black ink spaghetti and there was no vegetables with the salmon.

Please be reassured that we do not use supermarket Parma ham but we slice our own one, quality is key for us. 4.5/10Seafood black ink pasta does not even use fresh seafood which was appalling. Fresh mussels, clams, etc, should always be used. Not already cooked packet mussels. They had an awful smell. Dish sent back. Terrible...

Dear Artemis Chevalier Thank you very much for taking the time to review us and I'm very sorry to hear about your experience with us. While your black ink spaghetti with seafood did not meet your expectations I can assure you that our seafood is delivered daily from reputable supplier, which is then cleaned and stored accordingly. We take strict measures for quality, handling and storing of all our products expecially high risks. Unfortunately when using FRESH seafood it can be that one in a 100 of either clams or mussels might not be good and therefore need to be discard ( which in this case was overlooked by our chef and no excuses for that) I would be very happy if would give us another chance to prove my words in fact and show you delivery records against your assumptions. 10/10Fantastic food, and cosy warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating for our group of 6, I felt equally taken care of as when I go there as a couple. I appreciate being able to order wine by the carafe rather than whole bottle vs one glass, feels more friendly and quality of available wines was great.

5/10We made a booking earlier in the week, hoping to sit in the nice ground floor, but our party of four was directed to sit at a table at the very back of the basement, by a wall of tacky plastic vegetation. That’s when the flies started coming from all corners. The food was average but I’ve had nicer pasta at home. It was painful having to swat flies, and they quickly started getting into our glasses of wine. When we notified the staff about the flies at the end of our meal (which was priced like to more upmarket standards than the establishment provides, quite frankly), we were told ‘oh it must be because you ordered wine’ by a pretty dismissive waiter. We probably won’t go back…

9.5/10I lived in Italy for 6 years so I have a good idea of authentic italian food, and this was really authentic italian food. The burrata with pumpkin and truffle was amazing, but the star of the show for me was the pistachio cannolo: the ricotta was extraordinary, the real italian stuff, combined with beautiful pistachio cream. I'll be dreaming about that cannolo for months!

7/10Pleasant attentive staff Chose the squid ink sea food spaghetti the amount of actual spaghetti that was served was ungenerous to say the least the prawns were good but the rest of the seafood poor quality (muscles looked as though they had died of old age ) Overall did not think two pastas with 1 pudding some bread and 1 beer were worth the £85

8.5/10The food was delicious and the service was eventually very good but we got off to a rocky start because, despite having reserved a table for four a decent time in advance, the initial staff member seated us at a drafty table right by the door. It took quite a bit of negotiation to move to a more suitable table.

6.5/10The tables are cramped in, there was 3 of us sitting at a table that was really only suitable for 2 people. Would have preferred to have dined downstairs. Food was good however starters are overpriced. Staff were very efficient & friendly, top marks.
