6.5/10A family run Italian in Acton. Cosy and much more intimate compared to more well known Italian restaurants. The service was good and our waiter friendly and attentive. We were offered complimentary bread and olive oil for starters which was not great unfortunately. We felt there was too much olive oil and the bread was so hard, that we were struggling to chew it and so had to leave the bread. For mains we ordered the truffle ravioli in a ‘creamy sauce’ and the vegetable pizza. We were impressed with the pasta, which tasted fresh. The sauce was average; unfortunately, it was watered down and not too creamy as described on the menu and therefore it was just falling off my fork which was disappointing. Unfortunately, the vegetable pizza was also not for us… the base was very thin and after just five minutes we struggled to cut the pizza and would need something much more vigorous than a knife to cut through the base. However, willing to come back to try other pastas as that was good and the service also excellent

8.5/10Loved it. As soon as we arrived I knew we would enjoy it. Livio was great and produced a number of free antipasti. An irish lady was at the bar who used to live upstairs and she just popped in on her back way to Ireland to say hello to him, which said a lot. The menu is limited, but more than adequate and the seating consists of wooden church pews and chairs alongside large wooden tables. Very pleasant afternoon.

9/10As always a great experience - good food, good wine, very friendly owners. Love it! The pizza is excellent, and they are always happy to change/augment the toppings as you desire. Excellent and authentic Italian desserts - the cannoli and the ice creams are especially good!

10/10One of the best family-run restaurants I've ever been too. Food and drink are both top-notch with the food itself all handmade on-site (you can watch them make it!), great service by the family team who are super friendly, very reasonable prices, a very convenient and lively location. All round, highly recommended.

10/10I went for dinner about 8pn with a mate and had the Misto starter followed by a Margarita pizza. The food was just fantastic and really tasty. The starter was flavoursome and there was planet of tasty meat and mozzarella. and artichokes. The pizza was thin and crispy and the topping delicious. I think its the best pizza I've had in London. The service is very friendly and attentive and the price is reasonable. I liked the relaxed and informal atmosphere and I could take my time chatting and eating with my mate. I enjoyed the experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10Caserrecio is probably the best Italian restaurant in London (and I don’t think I’ve tasted better in Italy). Livio, Suzanne and Nicole are very welcoming, and it is a real family business. The menu is simple, just pizza and pasta, but contains such delights as Wild Boar Ravioli, Goat’s Cheese and Walnut Gnocchi, and the lightest, tastiest Pizza Sorrentina. The decor is cosy and authentic and Livio’s Sardinian passion for cooking is evident in every bite.
