They kept us waiting as said we didn’t have a booking, I had the emails on my phone which I showed the waiter, he then went to check with the manager so left us waiting for approx 15-20 minutes, there were 2 other people in the restaurant it was not busy at all. He then took screenshots of my emails. It made me feel that I had done something wrong. He even asked if I had got the correct restaurant. When we eventually sat down we then had to wait about 10-15 minutes to even get a drink. The food was good so no complaints there, but will definitely not go back.

We had such a lovely time! The staff are caring and attentive, the food is delicious! Coming from London we couldn't have asked for more! Thank you all! We had an amazing time!

The food and service were excellent. We weren’t rushed but neither did we have to wait ages for our food. Our waiting staff were professional and friendly. Having come from the cinema we enjoyed a conversation with the young female member of staff who served us. We’ll definitely return.

I was slightly nervous after reading other reviews that we might be the only people in the restaurant, but fortunately this wasn’t the case. Didn’t start off to well as hotel bar was closed so had to walk through restaurant to sports bar to get our drinks. After being seated in the busy restaurant (a tour group was staying) we placed our order with a nice young manager and both starters and mains were promptly served and were very good. This was our last night in Bearsted after living here for 18 years and not a bad way to move on.
