5/10I felt it was very overpriced for the quality of food. The pork belly was tough as was the crackling. The lady on the table next to us had to send her main course back as it was cold. Our desserts had definitely been heated in the microwave as they were cool on outside and piping hot in middle. Obligatory 12.5% service charge was not deserved. £95 for 2 mains , 2 desserts and 2 beers. Could do a lot better.

10/10We truly enjoyed our dinner; the food was delicious, and my husband especially appreciated his steak. Everyone was so kind and courteous, and we thank the entire team for making our visit so pleasant.

7.5/10chicken tikka masala was heated in microwave and not heated properly. Due to courtesy partner didn't complaint, however I felt very bad as I asked him to try tikka masala instead of fish and chips as chef was Indian.

6/10The restaurant was busier than we usually find it, hence the service was slower. The food was okay, although the pasta a little hard. Unfortunately the second half of our meal was plagued by another guest who would not leave us alone. She had a hospital tag on. It stopped us ordering dessert. It was not the fault of the restaurant, but ruined our experience.

5.5/10The chicken Caesar salad was very poor with little imagination put into it and the chicken was tough and overcooked. The chips were limp. My friend had a pasta dish which she did enjoy though and our waiter looked after us well despite the restaurant being short staffed.

7.5/10Don't agree with service charge being added on to your bill at nearly £5 each person !!! Plus we also had vat added on as well ...So very expensive night !!

9/10Excellent high quality food, particularly considering that the restaurant is in a hotel. Staff very efficient and mainly friendly. However, when I asked for the service charge to be removed, the waiter and restaurant manager quickly became very arrogant and hardy acknowledged us as we left.

6/10Great friendly service and knowledgeable. Good varied menu but the food was of poor quality. Starters were overcooked and presented with worst salad I have ever seen. I order sea bass, this was over cooked and so dry it was inedible, plus came with 5 little potato squares. Overall very poor food when expectations were high.
