Fabulous
excellent restaurant, lovely food, amazing cocktails, covid safe, staff are very friendly and helpful, service is of a high standard, loved it, will be back x thank you happy New Year Cathryn holden
Staff were pleasant. Food delicious. Accommodated me to have the festive menu, as I'm pregnant and couldn't have the wine. Did not feel at all rushed either. 10 out of 10
Don’t think the sharer starter was really worth the money. No ribs left so we got extra prawns which when they arrived looked like one portion anyway. Requested a specific gin on arrival advised they didn’t have this or know what it was. It was actually on the back bar when we arrived. We booked as soon as restrictions where announced but possibly had worst table in there. We love townhouse and will definitely go back but not a great a visit by any means. Staff really friendly too
It wasn’t really anything special, thought bottomless brunch was a lot different it’s just unlimited Prosecco nothing special. Average. Price was ok.
A very pleasant and well situated venue with an excellent menu and very tasty dishes. I would recommend it to my friends. Outdoor seating in a sunny , traffic free spot is a Plus.
Great steak. V helpful service.
Great place to eat, breakfast was tasty and service was great from all the staff considering how busy the place was. Fabulous location and stunning building.
No atmosphere in here and very chilly. Service was good and friendly enough if a little slow. Menu is quite limited and I don’t think the price matches the quality really. It’s a bit like a posh pub food nothing outstanding at all. I don’t think I’d come back to eat maybe sit outside with a drink but not for food. The fact they didn’t join the eat out to help out scheme made it even more poor value
Love the vibe of the restaurant and staff are very friendly. Been for breakfast a couple of times- each time the poached eggs were slightly undercooked but other than that pleased with the food.
I've eaten at Townhouse many times, and never been disappointed with the food. An elegant restaurant, with helpful staff., An ideal place for brunch - I recommend booking a booth for extra space.
Just had a work lunch at Castle Street Townhouse. If you are eating you can't sit outside now but inside was nice. Service was very good. Staff attentive. We had the 2 course lunch menu. Can recommend the cajun salmon which was a very good size portion and with the pesto was extremely tasty. Colleagues had steak, stroganoff and a burger. All were happy with their food. We were working and driving so just had tap water which wasnt a problem for them. Would 100% go again
Great food, lovely service and a fantastic atmosphere. Definitely recommend the Castle Street Townhouse. Beautifully cooked breakfast - we will all come again. Thank you
Great food and atmosphere
