10/10I have had the best steak of my life at this beautiful restaurant in London. The staff were very kind and attentive. They helped us recommend their best dishes and drinks, and surprisingly all their seggestions worked wonder for us. Hope we soon dine with them again when we visit the city in near future.

7.5/10Super convenient as we were staying at the hotel it is connected to. The hostess was friendly and we came at just the right time as it got super crowded and busy by the time we left. Our food was good but we had a hard time getting the waiter’s attention and were given dessert menus at the end but he never came back to see if we wanted dessert. We finally flagged down another waitress and got our bill. It was very, very crowded as we were leaving and it was extra crowded with tourists so I think that is why we had to wait for the bill so long.

10/10We had a business lunch of 13 people. Food was delicious, came out in a timely fashion and the staff were impeccable. Kudos to all of them, Winnie was great. Thank you for making our team lunch such a successful one. We will definitely be back!

10/10This is a return to st ermins after 35 years .I was last there with my wife now passed away but this time I took my 2 daughters to share with them the experience we had .I booked dinner for 8 pm the maitre’d showed us to the table after we’d had cocktails ,the service and food were of the highest order I could not fault all 3 courses we had a toast to mum where at that time the maitre’d brought in a cake to help us celebrate her life. This is a beautiful hotel which holds lots more memories now for all of us

8/10Loved the atmosphere and setting. Wine was lovely, and service excellent. However, the food I felt was a bit underwhelming. The side vegetables soulless and lacked the feeling of something that had come straight from the garden. And I had the Waygu skirt steak. It was perfectly cooked, and well seasoned, but tough as a pair of wellington boots, and this took the shine off things.

10/10Super accommodating staff. Nice setting. All plates were delicious. The wait staff did terrific taking care of the “old people” we were with ???? I had the cod, super moist and flaky. The wife had the aubergine/eggplant and she loved it.

8/10The atmosphere and waitstaff were excellent, no complaints at all. Just wish the menu had more to choose from. Only thing that seemed to appeal to the majority of diners around us and including our table was the burger. Shame to come all the way to London to be forced to eat a burger.

10/10The food was great , the atmosphere is good, the services is fine too. We had a great time there. If there is one thing i have to complaint it would be the online booking system, i had to call to ask for booking confirmation, other than that, a great place to dine.

8/10Staff made us laugh. 1 wait staff was a tiny bit testy and interrupted conversation. The dining room was very hot and we were able to crack the window some though there was horrible 2nd hand smoke that drifted in with breeze.

10/10Coming off of a Viking 8 day Seine river cruise, a trip on the EuroStar from Paris to London, we were weary travelers when checking in to St. Ermin's for 4 nights. Fortunately, I had booked a table for 2 at Caxton Grill and were glad we did. The food, service, atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Our server (Rita) also presented us with a "Happy Anniversary" plate of truffles to finish off the evening. We also had breakfast each morning during our stay and the buffett was superb.

5/10The food was distinctly average. The meat was tough and the chimichurri had no heat. Despitr the restaurant being very quiet they had sold out of my first choice main from the menu but wasn’t told until I had ordered.

Great tasting, high-end food and friendly service. I would like to dine here again. However, my only gripe is that the vegetarian dishes didn’t have much protein. For non-meat eaters, it’s great to have options that include eggs, cheese or pulses like beans, peas, chick peas and lentils. Without these, you end up eating only vegetables which do not adequately replace meat protein. So why not add a dish or two that contain these important elements?

6/10The sole was rather disappointing. Nice, warm bread and a good choice of wines. Service was quite good. The ambience was rather good but very noisy, including an unhappy, crying baby (felt sorry for him, but he was rather noisy…)

10/10Really lovely restaurant. We were there for a business dinner but ambience just right for a personal meal/evening out too. Dishes were well portioned, beautifully plated. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Excellent food - great range for both vegans and meat eaters. Staff were attentive but didn't hover. Portions were substantial so although not a cheap meal it did feel like you were getting value for money. I'd definitely return.
