5.5/10The food itself was okay in terms of taste but not when it comes to portion size, and the overall dining experience left much to be desired. The waiter was not very engagingthey didn’t offer any menu suggestions or show much interest in helping us decide. They were quiet and unsmiling, which made the interaction feel quite impersonal. To add to the surprise, we were charged a £5 service fee for our meal (2 adults and 2 kids) without any prior discussion or explanation. This felt unprofessional and unexpected, especially given the lack of attentive service. The service and unexpected charges really dampened the experience. I’d recommend the restaurant reconsiders its approach to customer interaction and transparency with additional fees.

10/10Although we visited on a quiet Monday evening, it was lovely. The staff were very attentive, and the set menu was great value. Will definitely be returning.

5.5/10The restaurant decor was nice (although the toilets need a bit of tlc). The staff were friendly & reasonably attentive. The food wasn't great & what was advertised in the menu as spicy wasn't & what was advertised as a bit spicy was spicer than what my husband ate! Also there wasn't much meat in the dishes.

10/10The staff were really helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing. Non alcoholic drinks were available at reasonable price. Presentation was great and the courtesy shown was perfect.

9/10We booked a table on 16/10/24 well in advance for 15/11/2024 but when we arrived and said we had a booked for 6.00pm the staff member acted like we hadn’t booked at all even though we gave him our name and time of the booking! He told us to take a seat and they would try and find a table! When we were called through he said it would be a tight squeeze but we could have a table! That wasn’t the best first impression and felt like it we were an convenience! Order was taken and drinks & poppadoms came really quickly & was happy with the service! Main’s took an exceptionally long time to come out and we saw staff pointing to our table, not sure if they had forgotten our order or not as something wasn’t right! However, when the food finally arrived it was well presented & tasted delicious! The next day we received an email saying we hadn’t attend our booking! Which we HAD and we didn’t appreciate yet again the failure of our booking not being recognised!

4/10Well I thought it was so expensive for what we had 5 small bottles of beer 2small glasses of lemonade £32 and the food as well all over the top prices ,I know we had a voucher but what we paid was just over the top I know better restaurants that are a lot cheaper don’t think I’ll be going there again .voucher a complete waste of time

8/10Staff were excellent, attentive, helpful and kind. Food was very good and freshly cooked. The place was mainly empty and, partly as a result, the ambience was not great. This is a nice place with friendly people and I recommend it.

8.5/10The restaurant was empty so it was nice and quiet, great for a romantic meal for two. They had no alcohol free beer or Coke left as they'd had a busy weekend and Bank Holiday so no deliveries. No biggie, as we just popped to the supermarket to stock up with our own. The food was delightful, highlight being the vegetable thali. Naan breads were hot and fresh. Curries delicious. Service polite and helpful. The Negatives? Service charge automatically added despite there only being two of us. I've always paid tips voluntarily and understand when there's a large party this is sometimes done at the till; but to do so when there's only two without asking? I was also charged for three rice when we I only ordered two. Only noticed when we got home, so that was disappointing too. I still recommend the restaurant but check your receipt and query the tip if unhappy

9.5/10A lovely restaurant, quiet at the time of day we went, but this didn't affect the service or the quality of the food. Very tasty and plentiful. Attentive staff, but not overbearing. A very good Indian restaurant, ideal for a pre-show meal too.

10/10We had the Happy Hour menu before a show at the Symphony Hall. It was very good value and excellent location, only 2 minutes walk from the venue. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent.

8.5/10We visited The Celebrity Indian restaurant before going to see Simple Minds at the Utilita Arena. The food was very good, and we all enjoyed the meals that we had. The only slight issues was that we had to wait quite a long time to be served, due to the amount of people no doubt also going to the concert. Will definitely go back in the future.

8/10Sadly I was pretty much the only customer. I know there are a large number of Indian restaurants in Birmingham, and I am no expert on Indian cuisine, but the lack of custom did not seem to have anything to do with food quality which was excellent in my opinion.

Food and service was excellent. Meat incredibly tender and good portion sizes. Just be aware that prices are higher than shown on the Fork app, but good quality and you get what you pay for! Friendly staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had to ask for the bill to be printed again as they forgot to include our £50 Fork discount, but it was no big deal. We had two courses, one (non alcoholic) beer and three soft drinks, and the total was £89 including a tip they automatically added of 10%. Look for this if you're not willing to pay! The service was a little slow as they were very busy, considering it was a Wednesday night. But the food was truly delicious so no complaints there at all. Didn't mind paying the tip as they provided extra pickle when requested (you do pay for poppadoms and dips separately). The staff were friendly so can't knock service at all and I don't mind tipping when it's not requested I just feel it's generally bad form to add to the bill for a table of 2. Overall, very well recommended for a romantic special night out in Birmingham City Centre. Especially if you get your Fork discount ❤️

Excellent service from when we waked in. Welcomed and walked to our table. Ordered and the starters came out while we chatted on our date night. Mains were beautifully presented and the service was top notch especially when they came to check on us.
